A elaboração e aplicação da tabela periódica ocorreram com os alunos licenciandos em Ciências Biológicas da PUC–MG e a professora supervisora do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação a Docência - PIBID, na Escola Municipal Clóvis Salgado, com quatro turmas do 9º ano do ensino fundamental. As aulas de ciências que possuem conteúdos de química são consideradas pelos discentes assuntos abstratos, distantes de sua rotina e de difícil entendimento. Diante disso, foi construído um material didático com o objetivo de levar à familiarização dos elementos químicos encontrados na natureza tais como, produtos, objetos, alimentos e também, de modo didático e dinâmico, o aprendizado da lógica organizacional da tabela periódica, a fim de auxiliar os alunos no processo de aprendizagem dos conteúdos mostrados em sala de aula. Pode-se observar com a atividade, que o uso de materiais didáticos diferentes do usual, como jogos, por exemplo, faz com que a aprendizagem, pelos alunos, ocorra de forma mais rápida e eficaz. As cartas com as dicas trouxeram uma maior aproximação destes elementos químicos com a realidade dos alunos, saindo do abstrato, já que a maioria dos elementos químicos está presente no cotidiano e, com isso, é possível agregar significância. Conclui-se, ao final, que a atividade auxiliou na melhor compreensão dos conteúdos de química durante as aulas.

Em consequência do maior nível de dificuldade no ensino de matérias que abordam técnicas moleculares, faz-se necessário compreendercomo se apresentam os conteúdos de Biologia Molecular em livros didáticos, visando um maiorentendimento de temas pouco abordados em aula e, consequentemente, buscando o aprimoramento do ensino. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar os conteúdos de biologia molecular em duas coleções de livros didáticos de biologia do Ensino Médio, totalizando 6 livros, quanto a presença, adequação às realidades socioculturais e atualizações necessárias à capacitação de alunos para uma formação mais abrangente. As duas coleções tiveram em sua totalidade diferentes exposições quanto aos conteúdos referentes à Biologia Molecular, de maneira que uma das coleções abrangeram mais o tema deste estudo.

As tecnologias são incorporadas nas diferentes áreas do nosso cotidiano, este cenário social tecnológico, visto fora das escolas são opostas ao cotidiano escolar, visto que a maioria das escolas brasileiras possuem currículos tradicionais e pouco tecnológicos. Neste contexto, é necessário que a educação se adapte à inovação e a tecnologia, para isso, os professores precisam ser bem formados e incentivados a aplicar metodologias de ensino ativas, atraentes e integradas à tecnologia. O estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a percepção das metodologias ativas por professores que atuam no ensino básico e superior do Estado de Minas Gerais. Os dados foram obtidos das respostas de 485 docentes via formulário eletrônico no ano de 2020. Sobre o conhecimento das metodologias ativas, 82,1% conhecia alguma metodologia, estando mais familiarizados com: seminário (57,2%), aprendizagem baseada em projetos/problemas (51%) e sala de aula invertida (45,7%). Apenas 20,8% foram capacitados durante a graduação e somente 23,3% receberam treinamento da instituição onde trabalham. Dos respondentes, 51,6% não recebem incentivo para utilizar as metodologias e relatam como principais desafios a falta de treinamento (68%), tempo de planejamento (48,5 %), falta de material (48,5%), tempo de aplicação (42,7%) e participação dos alunos (40,2%). Ainda que 79,2% dos respondentes não tenham recebido treinamento durante a graduação, a maioria considera relevante sua inclusão, refletindo a necessidade de modernização dos currículos.
