The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of low grade students at SD Negeri 1 Rama Murti. This study aims to determine the significant relationship between the role of parents in mentoring and learning outcomes, the role of parents in learning motivation and learning outcomes, the role of parents in mentoring and learning motivation, and the role of parents in mentoring and learning motivation together with learning outcomes of low grade. This type of research is ex-postfacto correlation. The data collection techniquesused werw questionnaires and documentation study. The instrument for data collection is a questionnarie with a linkert scale, wich was previously tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using product moment correlation multiple correlation. The result showed that there was a significant relationship between the role of parents in mentoring and learning motivation together with learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient value of 0,687 being at a level of “Strong”.
Sejak bergulirnya revolusi industri (RI) 4.0 tidak hanya sektor industri saja yang terdampak, sektor pasar tenaga kerja dan pendidikan juga turut terdampak. Penyiapan SDM yang berkualitas dan memiliki keterampilan-keterampilan abad XXI agar dapat menghadapi tantangan RI 4.0 perlu dilakukan sejak di bangku SD, salah satunya melalui pembelajaran IPA. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan melatih guru-guru SD di Kota Metro Provinsi Lampung dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang melatihkan keterampilan-keterampilan abad XXI. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, workshop, kegiatan mandiri, dan presentasi. Dari kegiatan ini diperoleh nilai rerata n-gain sebesar 0,780 dengan kategori tinggi dan 85% guru peserta kegiatan dinyatakan terampil dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang melatihkan keterampilan-keterampilan abad XXI. Preparation of the qualified human resources and the 21st-century skills to be able to deal with the challenges of IR 4.0 needs to be done in elementary school, one of which is through natural science learning. This activity is carried out to train elementary school teachers in the Metro City Lampung Province for making natural science learning instruments that practice 21st-century skills. This activity is carried out by lecturing, workshops, independent activities, and presentations. From this activity, an average n-gain value of 0.780 was obtained with a high category and 85% of the teachers participating in the activity were declared skilled in compiling science learning tools that train the 21st-century skills. The national education system so far has not been satisfactory. Looking at this situation, several solutions have been proposed, e.g., updated version of curriculum. However, this solution is not adequate because educators are also expected to be able to prepare students' attitudes and behavior so that they can face the demands of the current situation and the dynamics of change that are rapidly developing. Changes that occur are not only in knowledge and technology but also in aspects of moral values in social life. In addition to family as a center of education, a higher education institution environment also requires a function of character education to shape students’ personality be more positive as expected. In other words, the process of character formation and habituation is the responsibility of not only students’ parents within family domain but also formal higher education institutions. With the various problems that exist at higher education level, character building for primary teacher education (henceforth PGSD) students is needed that they are expected to be able to improve and apply their knowledge, study, appreciate and apply character values in their daily life behavior. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify PGSD students’ character formation and ensure the results of the character formation process in a higher education institution in Indonesia.
This paper attempted to analyze the initial scientific literacy skills of students of the PGSD FKIP University of Lampung study program. A quantitative research design with a descriptive method design was performed. The research was conducted in campus B FKIP University of Lampung. The subjects of this study were the third semester students of PGSD Campus B FKIP University of Lampung. The total of them were 51 students. A scientific literacy test was employed as the instrument. There were 20 questions on the scientific literacy test in the form of multiple choice questions. Based on the results of the research and data analysis obtained from this study, it can be concluded that the results of the analysis show that the scientific literacy skills of students who have initial literacy abilities are less than those who have not. The percentage of students who achieved initial scientific literacy skills was 45.09%, while those who had not reached the level of 54.90%.
The testes are two glandular organs in the male reproductive system responsible for producing gametes called sperm and synthesizing androgen hormone called testosterone. The two functions of the testes are used as parameters for fertility and sexual performance in males. This paper presents the results of research to find plant-derived ingredients that are potential to treat disorders related to testicular function carried out in Indonesia in the last two decades. The inclusions criteria of the papers compiled are: containing the results of research conducted in Indonesia, by Indonesian researchers; have been published both in national and international journals that can be accessed using Google search engine. The results indicated there are numerous plant species that were revealed to have potentials to be developed as contraceptive or anti-fertility agent, pro-fertility ingredient and sexual activity enhancer herbs in males. Given fertility, infertility, and sexual behavior in males are all determined by the function of testes, it can be concluded that the Indonesian medicinal plants studied are containing active substance that have an effect on the testes.
