Abstract. The article reviews the trends which define development of power engineering in the world and in Russia. The authors emphasize that establishment of smart grids is the consequence of not only technological but also social transformations of a modern society. The authors sum up that social competencies are an integral part of professional skills of engineers who work in the field of power engineering. The authors make a hypothesis that the major (educational module) "Energy consultant for the population" might develop social competencies.
Relevance of this article is determined by necessity to comprehend and develop new forms of educational process in the context of cognitive revolution that is currently taking place in the field of information and cognitive processes. Object of the article is to reveal the most important forms of educational activities in the system of post-secondary education allowing for competent knowledge management both by students and their instructors. The authors rely on such research approaches as explication, comparison, etymological analysis. Studies of transformation of objectives and content of tertiary education in the context of transition to information society lead to the conclusion about priorities of student initiative and independence as the most important factors in the tertiary education system. It is assumed that the instructor shall empathically put themselves into the student's position to form the experience necessary to be given as an example for organization of educational process and raising efficiency of such process
The priority direction of updating the education system is the introduction of modern information and communication technologies, which provide further improvement of the educational process, accessibility and efficiency of education, preparation of the young generation for life in the information society. The analysis of the problem of using information and communication technologies in the educational process confirms that the transition to computeroriented learning technologies, creation of conditions for their development, testing and implementation, a rational combination of the newest means of teaching with the traditional onesa complex educational task that needs to be solved A whole complex of psychological and pedagogical, organizational, educational, methodological, logistical and other issues. And among them-the development of appropriate educational and methodological support for the use of information retrieval systems, hypermedia, multimedia, telecommunication and network technologies; The formation of information culture of teachers and students, their preparation for the practical use of information and communication technologies in their professional activities. The use of information and communication technologies and the possibilities of Internet resources in the educational process of higher educational institutions has an innovative, progressive character and a tendency to develop and spread to all educational institutions in Ukraine. The use of electronic learning systems provides an opportunity for flexible learning of students in the interactive educational environment, the formation of skills for independent work, conscious attitude to learning. The article is devoted to the consideration of ways to increase the efficiency of the process of teaching students in higher educational institutions through the introduction of modern information and communication technologies. The urgency and necessity of application of information and communication technologies in the educational process as requirements of the present are considered. The main advantages and disadvantages of using information and communication technologies in the process of learning are determined. The authors disclose the main difficulties faced by students in the educational process of a higher educational institution.
Abstract:Joining of Ukrainian educators to the European educational space requires from the higher educational establishments of Ukraine rapid achievement of a qualitatively new level of teaching disciplines for the professional and humanitarian direction. As well as ensuring the intellectual, material, psychological and moral readiness of future specialists to work in a fastmoving world in which a modern specialist faces the need to process large arrays of information and constantly update their knowledge, skills, abilities. The authors analyze the peculiarities of students' preparation for work with information and communication technologies in the USA. Significant increase for material that today is required to process a modern student and the reduction of the time allocated for his assimilation increases the importance of independent forms of learning. Under such conditions, for today's professional training the use of the latest information technologies in the educational process becomes of special significance. The problem of introducing into the Ukrainian educational information technology space has a wide range of aspects: the use of the Internet for professional counseling for youth, the use of information technology in vocational schools, the development of distance courses, the formation of information culture, etc. The article analyzes the problem of the readiness of students of different specialties to use information and communication technologies in the educational process of a higher educational institution. Particular attention paid to modern processes of globalization and informatization of higher education as the priority trends of the development of modern Ukrainian society. Informatization of the educational process is one of the main priorities in the development of higher education, a qualitatively new stage for the whole system of higher education, a promising direction for increasing the efficiency of the process of studying at a higher educational institution.Keywords: informatization, information and communication pedagogical environment, information and communication technologies, higher education, social sphere, educational process in higher educational institution.Relevance and expediency of research. The globalization of world economic and business processes is also an impetus for the globalization of higher education. Among the world's higher education institutions, the struggle for influence on the educational markets of other countries is under way. The globalization of education has become possible thanks to the development of innovative educational technologies, and therefore information technologies become the main strategic resource of a higher educational institution. An educational institution that can create the best conditions and resources for learning by means of information technologies goes to a qualitatively new level of the modern world university.
У статті розглядається поняття соціального проектування як технології соціальної роботи в місцевих громадах Сполучених Штатів Америки. Проведений аналіз наукових праць, у яких розкриваються особливості соціального проектування на рівні місцевих громад США. Визначено основні етапи соціального проектування як технології соціальної роботи. У статті наголошено на проектну роботу як один з основних видів діяльності соціального працівника в місцевих громадах Сполучених Штатів Америки.
