Work Satisfaction of Newly Hired Nursing Workers in a Public Hospital

Abstract: RESUMOEstudo descritivo exploratório, de abordagem quantitativa, realizado de maio a junho de 2011, objetivou avaliar a satisfação profissional de trabalhadores de enfermagem recém-admitidos em um hospital público. Participaram 133 profissionais que responderam ao questionário Índice de Satisfação no Trabalho. A maioria dos trabalhadores era do sexo feminino, casada e com 36,6 anos em média.
