Web-based Application for Visual Representation of Learners' Problem-Posing Learning Pattern

Abstract: The analysis of learner’s learning process on an interactive learning media tends to involve a huge amount of data gathering. The analysis aims to explore patterns and relationship of such data to understand the learning experience and identifying learner’s trap states in the learning process. Such data analysis tends to be a nuisance for stakeholders such as class instructors (i.e., teachers) and educational researchers. This research suggests the development of a web-based software application that utilizes … Show more

“…Libor et al studied the task of SPP by exploring students' behavior and interaction patterns in different types of online quiz-based activities within learning management systems (LMS) (Juhaňák et al, 2019 ). Especially, many studies of SPP were applied to discover a better learning pattern and thereby improve the educational output (Hu and Huang, 2018 ; Lam et al, 2018 ; Kushwaha et al, 2019 ; Supianto et al, 2019 ).…”

“…The latest development of the MONSAKUN system performance has been carried out by [19] which uses log data to explore patterns and data relationships to understand learning experiences and identify students after using the MONSAKUN system. Furthermore, from [20] who developed a web-based application to visualize the activity patterns of student actions in arithmetic learning with a problem-posing approach, then the form of visualization was used to provide information to teachers to analyze improvements in the future learning process.…”
