Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor as Marker of Vascular Dysfunctions in Obesity Children

Abstract: In the study was analyzed the serum level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) at 87 obesity children 9–17 years old of both sex. Significant increase of serum concentration VEGF at obesity children in comparison with healthy controls was established, especially at presence hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance and microvasculature dysfunction, in less — at the arterial hypertension and microalbuminuria.
