The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the perfectionism and selfefficacy of gifted children. In this study, Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale and Self-Efficacy Scale for Children will be used as data collection tools. The research was carried out by scanning design, one of the quantitative research methods. While selecting the sample of the study, criterion sampling, which is the purposeful sampling type, was used. In the study, the sampling criteria of the students were considered as SAC (Science and Art Centers) students, who were diagnosed as being gifted.Participation in the study is entirely voluntary. The study group of the research consists of 507 students (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades) studying in SAC various provinces of Turkey. The obtained data were analyzed with the descriptive and complementary statistical method. While there is no significant difference in the child and adolescent perfectionism levels of gifted students according to gender and the independent variables of the period they studied at SAC, there is a significant difference according to the independent variables of school type, grade levels, number of siblings and ranking among siblings. While there is no significant differentiation in the self-efficacy levels of gifted students according to gender, school type and number of siblings' independent variables, there is a significant difference in class levels, periods of study in SAC, and ranking independent variables between siblings. It was concluded that there was no significant and positive relationship between the answers given by gifted students to the Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale and the answers they gave to the Children's Self-Efficacy Scale.

Özel Yetenekli Öğrencilerin Mühendislik Algılarının Çiz-Yaz-Anlat Tekniği Kullanılarak İncelenmesi

Bu araştırmada, özel yetenekli öğrencilerin mühendislik algılarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden olgubilim kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2019-2020 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılı birinci döneminde Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde yer alan bir bilim ve sanat merkezinde öğrenim gören 76 özel yetenekli öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, çiz-yazanlat tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yürütülmüştür. Öğrencilerin mühendislik kavramına yönelik çizimleri incelendiğinde, toplamda 253 çizim olmak üzere, 54 farklı çizim yaptıkları tespit edilmiştir. Mühendislik kavramına yönelik öğrenci çizimleri altı kategori altında toplanmış ve öğrencilerin en çok ürün kategorisi altında çizim yaptıkları belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin daha çok inşaat, bilgisayar ve erkek bireylere yönelik çizim yaptıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda da öğrencilerin önemli bir kısmı mühendisliğin otomotiv, bilgisayar ve inşaat alanları ile ilgili olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Bu sonuca göre, özel yetenekli öğrencilerin toplum tarafından kabul görmüş mühendislik algılarını devam ettirdikleri ifade edilebilir. Bu kapsamda özel yetenekli öğrencilerin mühendislik algılarını zenginleştirmek için farklı mühendislik temelli STEM etkinliklerinin öğretim programlarında yer alması önerilmektedir. Giriş: Bu araştırma okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin üstün yeteneklilik konusunda eğitim almadan önce ve sonra bu konudaki algılarını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseninde kurgulanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Çorum İl merkezinde bulunan resmi okul öncesi kurum ve ilköğretim okulu anasınıflarında çalışan gönüllü toplam 171 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada bilgi formu, beyin fırtınası ve resim tekniği kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler tümevarımsal içerik analizi yoluyla analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada veriler kategorize edilirken belirtilen ifadeler araştırmacılar tarafından en az üç kez incelenerek ayrı ayrı kodlanmış ve oluşturulan kod ve kategoriler üç uzman tarafından incelenerek son hali verilmiştir. Bulgular: Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin üstün yetenekliliğe ilişkin olarak gerek eğitim almadan önce gerekse sonrasında bu çocukların daha çok bilişsel gelişim özelliklerini dikkate aldıkları bununla birlikte eğitim aldıktan sonra eğitim almadan öncekine göre daha fazla sayıda ve çeşitte kodlama yaptıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca üstün yeteneklilik konusunda bilgilendirilmeden önce bu çocukların öğretmeni zorlayabilecek özelliklerini daha çok ifade ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Tartışma: Okul öncesi öğretmenleri üstün yeteneklilik konusunda bilgilendirildikten sonra öncesine nazaran bu çocukların temel olarak bilişsel, dil, sosyal duygusal gelişimleri ile genel gelişimsel özellikleri konusunda oldukça bilgi sahibi oldukları ve bu bağlamda öğretmenlerin üstün yetenekli çocukların zorlayıcı özelliklerine ilişkin görüşlerinin bilgilendirildikten sonra oldukça azaldığı ve öğretmenlerin üstün yetenekli çocukları tanımaya başladıkça zorlayıcı olabilecek özelliklerini kabullenmeye daha eğilimli oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır.
