Use of Critical Annotation and Interactive Fiction for the Creation of Digital Educational Content

Abstract: Interactive fiction and critical annotation are two very important activities in the field of philology teaching. The first activity aims to turn the reader into an ac-tive element in reading electronic books. For this, different gadgets and tech-niques are used that force the reader to have to make decisions in the reading process. With respect of the annotation, it is an activity that aims to enrich liter-ary texts with meta-information that allows explaining or extending the infor-mation that appears in the… Show more

“…Since the building subject in a single building image captured by the camera occupies most of the area in the image [16], the imaging projected on the two-dimensional image often has perspective distortion, in order to resolve the ambiguity, the user needs to mark the 6 corners that can cover the 6 faces of the cuboid. In the camera calibration, set the origin of the world coordinate system as the center of the bottom surface of the cuboid, and the coordinate axes are aligned with the sides of the cuboid, in order to match the user's marked area with the two-dimensional projected image area of the cuboid component in the world coordinate system, using the camera model based on the geometric constraints of the parallelepiped, the internal and external parameters of the camera and the size parameters l 1 and l 2 of the cuboid are calculated.…”

“…In one paper, a domain-specific-language called HEXIFE was developed as an extension of HTML5 with an IF-specific markup and support through a runtime environment based on HTML, PHP, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript (Gómez-Albarrán et al, 2021). One project made use of ILSAditor, a digital editing tool, which would output a finalized IF project in a web-oriented format (HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript) (Diez-Sanmartín et al, 2020). The shareability aspect of a web based IF makes this an enduring approach to authorship, however it does not appear to enjoy the degree of popularity as Twine and Inform 7.…”
