Travnema Araujoi N.SP, (Nematoda, Pharyngodonidae), parasito de Curimatus Gilberti Quoy & Gaimard (Pisces, Characinidae)

Abstract: RESUMO: Proposta a criação de uma nova espécie de Pharyngo donidae pertencente ao género Travnema Pereira 1938-Travnema araujoi n ip. parasito de Curimatus gilberti Quoy e Gaimard. (Pisces, Characinidae) considerando que em Travnema araujoi as caracte rísticas morfológicas são maiores que as encontradas em Travnema travnema. O macho possue duas papilas précloacal assim como duas papilas poscloacal, não encontradas em T. travnema. Em tabela as medidas comparativas entre as duas espécies.
