Three-Dimensional Bioconvection Nanofluid Flow from a Bi-Axial Stretching Sheet with Anisotropic Slip

Abstract: A theoretical study is presented for three-dimensional flow of bioconvection nanofluids containing gyrotactic microorganisms over a bi-axial stretching sheet. The effects of anisotropic slip, thermal jump and mass slip are considered in the mathematical model. Suitable similarity transformations are used to reduce the partial differential equation system into a nonlinear ordinary differential system. The transformed nonlinear ordinary differential equations with appropriate transformed boundary conditions are … Show more

“…Also, Khan et al [7] investigated unsteady three-dimensional Sisko magnetonanofluid flow with heat absorption and temperature-dependent thermal conductivity. Recently, three-dimensional bioconvection nanofluid flow from a biaxial stretching sheet was presented by Amirsom et al [8]. Besides, convinced works in this direction are explained by Shashikumar et al [9], Khan et al [10], Uddin et al [11], and Khan et al [12].…”

“…They also proved that the value of local Nusselt number enhanced with the addition of the nanoparticles volume fraction and consequently, improved the convective heat transfer from surface to the fluid. The recent investigations on the application of nanofluids were analyzed by Alamri et al (2019), Amirsom et al (2019), Aziz et al (2018), Hassan et al (2019), Khashi'ie et al (2019), Mohamed et al (2016), Sheikholeslami et al (2019), Sohail et al (2019), and Zaimi et al (2017). However, there are also a few of literatures that highlighted the significance and application of non-Newtonian nanofluid in the fluid dynamics.…”
