MHD Slip Flow of CNT-Ethylene Glycol Nanofluid due to a Stretchable Rotating Disk with Cattaneo–Christov Heat Flux Model

Abstract: This article deals with carbon nanoliquid flow due to stretchable rotating disk with the effect of Cattaneo–Christov heat flux model. Both SWCNTs and MWCNTs are considered with ethylene glycol as the base fluid. The effects of nanoparticle volume friction, normally applied magnetic field, stretching factor, velocity, and thermal slip factors are examined. The fundamental flow governing equations are transformed into dimensionless system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations, and they are solved … Show more

“…Also, the thickness of the thermal boundary layer enhances for bigger values of R, which increases the temperature profile. As well, the same pattern of velocity and temperature distribution in hybrid nanofluids flow was observed by Tulu and Ibrahim [8] and Manjunatha et al [25]. e impacts of Grashof number (natural convection parameter) τ on velocity and temperature profiles are presented in Figures 7 and 8, respectively.…”

“…The MHD radiative and incompressible steady flow of Carreau nanofluid explored with carbon nanotubes are investigated by Nagalakshm & Vijaya 30 . Tulu and Ibrahim 31 scrutinized the carbon nanofluid flow with the result of Cattaneo–Christov heat flux model due to stretchable rotating disks. Both SWCNTs and MWCNTs are known as the base fluid of ethylene glycol.…”

“…Chaudhary and Kanika (2019) numerically explored a Marangoni convective MHD flow of CNTs nanofluid with radiation effects. Recently, Tulu and Ibrahim (2020) discussed a magneto-hydrodynamic slip flow of CNT-EG nanofluid over a rotating stretchable disk along Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model.…”
