The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the principal's interpersonal communication on the work motivation of teachers in Public High School 1 Merapi Barat. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which is specific to describing, then first of all the author will describe what the results obtained at the research location in this case are the role of the principal's interpersonal communication on the work motivation of teachers in Public High School 1 Merapi Barat. Interpersonal communication aims to convey everything about the contents of his thoughts and feelings to the communicant. The expression of the contents and thoughts and feelings if applied correctly with the right ethics will be able to prevent and avoid conflicts between individuals, between groups and even between nations so as to maintain national unity and integrity. From the analysis of this research, a leader is required to be able to communicate effectively interpersonal in order to be able to have emotional closeness between leaders and subordinates and fellow subordinates so that when the delivery of information takes place it will be easier and more relaxed in achieving the goals of information, the closeness that is owned makes the information. what is delivered is easy to accept and run. Where later these factors can increase and play a role in teacher motivation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik dalam suatu organisasi, faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan konflik, pendekatan dalam penanganan konflik, dan dampak konflik terhadap kinerja organisasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) konflik dapat dimaknai dengan 3 makna yakni makna positif, netral, dan negatif, (2) faktor-faktor penyebab konflik dapat berasal dari faktor eksternal dan internal individu organisasi. Faktor internal bisa berupa perbedaan kepribadian, stress, penurunan produktivitas dan lain sebaginya. Sedangkan faktor eksternal bisa berupa masalah komunikasi, sumber daya yang terbatas, pelecehan seksual, dan lain sebagainya, (3) pendekatan menangani konflik memerlukan keterampilan kepemimpinan. Pendekatan penanganan konflik ada delapan yakni, musyawarah, campur tangan pihak ketiga, konfrontasi, tawar-menawar (bargaining), kompromi, mediasi, konsiliasi dan konsultasi, dan peningkatan sumber daya, dan (4) kinerja suatu individu dapat terhambat karena adanya konflik, namun tidak semua konflik berdampak negatif, konflik dapat memberi dampak positif jika dapat dikelola secara tepat.

Purpose of the Study: School decision-making promotes school autonomy and success. Today’s contemporary approach supports the idea that operative school functioning and development are characteristically accomplished when there is decentralized decision-making. Hence, the purpose of the study is to find the balance between decision-making in a centralized and decentralized structure in a school based system. Methodology: An extensive search of major databases was undertaken, which identified 35,822 studies on the subject, wherein 9 met the inclusion criteria. Employing a systematic literature review, data were extracted and analyzed using thematic analysis. Two themes arose from the analysis of the studies, such as decision-making as a school-based management practice and decision-making towards school performance. Main Findings: Studies on decision-making in school management from a sociological approach. It also highlights the need to mix centralized and decentralized techniques to improve education. Following are some debate points that might want more research: (1) school principal decision-making and (2) school running expense and spending decision-making. Research Implications: The study's findings will aid in improving staff performance and community comprehension of schooling. Increased participation of internal and external stakeholders can boost school autonomy and accountability. The novelty of the study: As a school-based management technique, the correct balance of centralized and decentralized decision-making might enable schools to function at their best while corporations attain peak performance.
