The rapid exchange of information through technology has caused a cultural change in Indonesia. This causes the local culture to be lost and the penetration of foreign cultures. This article aimed to analyze the need to develop Field Trip Model Virtual Reality for elementary school students. This study used the qualitative descriptive method. The 50 students and 28 teachers from an elementary school in Jakarta became participants. The data were collected using questionnaires form and interviews. The data were analyzed using triangulation. The result showed that the learning model was needed to increase cultural literacy. From questionnaire data show that (1) students need learning media that can make it easier to recognize the culture, (2) students' awareness of culture is still low, and (3) students need technology that allows users to feel the conditions as real from the three-dimensional effects. The Coronavirus pandemic in Indonesia is increasing daily. Unfortunately, the implementation of lockdown is not enforced in some areas. Meanwhile, in these current pandemic conditions, health communication is needed. This research describes health communication concepts, readers’ attitudes, and digital media literacy. Furthermore, the digital media literacy antecedent focuses on understanding attitudes in handling hoax information and people infected with Coronavirus. A quantitative approach with the forecasting method was used in this research. It showed that Health Communication has a linear regression value of 0.49 with a significance of 0.000 on the reader's attitude variables. There is an influence between health communications on the reader's attitudes. Likewise, digital media has a regression result of 0.51 with a significant value of 0.000 on reader's attitudes indicating that digital media influences reader's attitudes. Subsequently, developing digital media literacy and reader attitudes in health communication is important. It is hoped that future research will be able to elaborate on health communication and digital media literacy in the wider community and use adapted methods.

Character is an important aspect that needs to be instilled in students from an early age. However, the coronavirus pandemic has changed the learning process from offline to online so that character formation must be identified whether it is in accordance with before. This study aimed to identify the character-building process of students learning mathematics in elementary schools during the coronavirus pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Data were collected through observation (descriptive, focused, and selected), and interviews. The data were analyzed using domain analysis techniques, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and theme analysis. The research subjects consisted of students and mathematics teachers at Elementary schools. The results showed that students formed through online mathematics learning during the coronavirus pandemic were honest, disciplined, and responsible. Forming students' character in learning mathematics is carried out by exemplary methods, habituation, and inculcation of values. Keywords: learning, mathematics, character, students, covid-19;
