The Relationship Between Precipitin Titer and Number of Trichinella Spiralis in the Intestinal Tract of Mice Following Test Infections

Abstract: Summary Four experiments, in which mice received 1 to 4 doses of 200 Trichinella spiralis larvae at 21-day intervals, revealed a marked progressive decrease in the percentage of worms recovered from the small intestine of the mice and a striking progressive increase in the precipitin titer of their sera. This effect was shown to vary with the number of doses administered.
