This research has a purpose to find out the efficiency of of using education videos to increase the vocational high school students' mathematical communication ability. The method used for this research was a quasi experiment method where the researcher took two classes as research samples. The first class was the experimental class where the students were shown the education videos and the second class was the control class where the students were taught as usual. The materials which were used for this research was a linear program. The research's populations were the tenth grade students of SMK AL-Halim Garut with class X Multimedia and X Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) (Class of Computer Techniques and Network) as the samples. From the result of the first normality data analysis test (Pre-test), it was found that the experimental class did not distribute normally, therefore, the research continued by using Mann Whitney's experiment. Sig.0.456 > 0.05 was resulted from the count, therefore H0 was accepted, it meant that there was no difference between the experimental class and control class. Meanwhile, on the final test (Post-test), the scores of both classes did not distribute normally, therefore Mann Whitney's experiment was used again to find out. Sig.0.000 > 0.05 was resulted from the count, therefore H0 was rejected. In conclusion, "The efficiency of the students' mathematical communication ability who got the education videos was more effective than those who were taught as usual on the linear program material" Keywords: education videos, mathematical communication ability, linear program AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa SMK. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen, dimana peneliti mengambil dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitan, yaitu kelas pertama sebagai kelas eksperimen mendapatkan video pembelajaran dan kelas kedua sebagai kelas kontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah program linear. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK AL-HALIM Garut dengan sampel kelas yang dipilih yaitu X Multimedia dan X Teknik computer dan jaringan (TKJ). AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menelaah secara mendalam tentang kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang dipengaruhi kepercayaan diri siswa SMA. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA di Kota Bandung dan sampelnya sebanyak 27 orang yang ditetapkan dengan teknik purposif sampling pada salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis sebanyak 6 butir soal dan skala kepercayaan diri siswa sebanyak 33 skala pernyataan. Hasil penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMA dipengaruhi positif oleh kepercayaan dirinya sebesar 74,6%, sedangkan 25,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor selain kepercayaan diri siswa. AbstractThis study aims to analyze and examine in depth about the students' mathematical critical thinking ability influenced by self-confidence. The study was designed in the form of experiments using correlational method with quantitative approach. The population in this research is high school students in Bandung and the sample as many as 27 people determined by purposive sampling technique in one of high school in Bandung. The instrument in this research is the test of mathematical critical thinking ability as much as 6 items and the scale of students' selfconfidence as much as 33 scale statement. Based on the results and discussion, it is concluded that the students' mathematical critical thinking ability influenced positively by self-confidence equal to 74.6%, while 25.4% influenced by factors other than student self-confidence.

Mathematical communication ability is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students in 21st century learning. Worksheets of students who have not yet integrated mathematical abilities will hinder the achievement of learning objectives. Problem based learning is a model that can improve mathematical communication skills. This study aims to design mathematics student worksheets of problem based learning models to improve mathematical communication skills. This research is a type of development research with the ADDIE model. This research focused on the design stage of ADDIE model. The subject of this study consisted of teachers and students of MTs Class VIII, Seleman, Indonesia. The instrument of data collection consists of observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation sheets. Observation guidelines are used for the characteristics of students' mathematical communication. The interview guide used to retrieve student characteristics data from the teacher's perspective during the learning process. The documentation sheet manual used to view curriculum implementation data that apply in the school. The data were analyzed by using quantitative data with the provisions of the Likert scale. Producing design products in the form of student worksheets as learning media, the quality of the design is "very good" with a score of 4.36. An average score of 4.08 by filling in the LKS design, 4.33 LKS design languages and 4.5 technical aspects. This study resulted in the design of student worksheets of problem based learning models according to the needs of students. Student worksheets are designed to improve students' mathematical communication skills.The results of the study show that the quality of the design products produced based on the validity and the student worksheets met the criteria well. This research can be expanded at the stage of developing, implementing and evaluating.
