The aim of the paper is to define important credit risk factors in the SME segment, find out how entrepreneurs evaluate these factors, and quantify the differences in their evaluation based on the enterprise's age, gender and attained education level. An empirical research was conducted in relation to the defined aim. 1,141 responses were received by means of the online questionnaire. To process the results, the two-sample t-test was used. Statistical tools such as histogram, Q-Q graph, z-test, and goodness-of-fit tests were applied to verify the assumptions. The results indicate that small and medium-sized enterprises perceive credit risk more intensively in comparison with the pre-crisis era. It was also discovered that the SMEs' knowledge of credit criteria is somewhat low. Entrepreneurs also state that banks' credit criteria are not very transparent. Based on the findings, the length of operating a business has a significant influence on the evaluation of credit risk factors. Experienced entrepreneurs, meaning those operating a business for over 10 years, have a more intense perception of the significance of credit risk, they also have better knowledge of banks' credit criteria, and view credit criteria as more transparent than beginner entrepreneurs.

In modern socio-economic realities of the functioning of regions, the main vector of their development is innovation. As a result, among the key principles of the state policy of regional development is the provision of sustainable economic and scientific and technological growth of enterprises in the region, which will increase the level of competitiveness. Problems of innovative development are becoming more common in science and practice, as innovation is a source of economic growth and a way to gain competitive advantage. All this necessitates the study of innovation potential as a basis for innovation not only at the national but also at the regional level. growth is taking place. The article is devoted to solving the problem of assessing the state and development of innovation in the Kharkiv region. The author substantiated the algorithm of research of innovative development, identified the main priorities and areas of evaluation. systematized indicators for assessing the innovation potential of the region and the effectiveness of innovation. The analysis of the basic statistical indicators reflecting innovative development of the Kharkiv area is carried out. A mechanism for the functioning of innovative development at the regional level has been developed. Problems of development of regional innovation potential of Kharkiv region are considered. The following key factors hindering the development of the region's innovation potential have been identified: lack of investment resources, insufficient level of innovation activity, underdeveloped innovation infrastructure. It is established that in order to ensure sustainable development of innovation potential of regions it is necessary to take measures to intensify (stimulate) innovation potential, namely the creation of economic mechanisms to support and stimulate innovation, create innovation infrastructure in higher education, stimulate innovative developments in market demand. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study were the works of domestic and foreign scientists, statistics and general scientific research methods: abstract logic, content analysis, synthesis, statistical and comparative analysis.

The concept of resilience has wide acceptance in different scientific doctrines and fields, from ecology to disaster management. Nowadays this phenomenon is being more and more intensively exploited in economic sciences in an attempt to measure the ability of economic systems to quickly regenerate from different external shocks or even to avoid them as such. This research paper examines economic resilience of the agricultural sector (including industries) with the example of Lithuanian empirical data. In order to measure the economic resilience of the agricultural sector, the appropriate index was created including a new derivative indicator-volatility of revenues from the desired growth path. Expert interviews, statistical analysis and econometrical modelling were employed in our research. The results show the increasing value of economic resilience of the Lithuanian agricultural sector up to the year 2015, which can be attributed to the accession into the EU, after this year inclination towards more profitable, but considerably more risky export markets lowers the calculated parameter of economic resilience of the Lithuanian agricultural sector. Such a tendency questions the sustainability of economic resilience of the Lithuanian agricultural sector.
