High-level thinking skills based on a revised Bloom's taxonomy is an ability that involves the analysis, evaluation, and create the dikombainkan with dimensions of factual knowledge, conceptual and procedural. This research is the development (Research and Development), which aims to generate test Systems of Linear Equations Two Variables based on a revised taxonomy Bloom qualified to measure high-level thinking skills class VIII SMPN Sungguminasa Gowa. The subjects were the students of class VIII SMPN 4 Sungguminasa Gowa 117 people composed of 80 women and 37 men. Procedure development of instruments that are used to adopt the design development of formative research by Tesmer comprising the step of preliminary, namely the determination of the place and the subject of research, the stage of self-evaluation that is, identifying the learning material of mathematics, knowing the number of students and the information that the students have not got and do the problems higher level thinking and preparation of design problems of high-level description of thinking and formative stages of evaluation (expert review, evaluation of one to one, small group evaluation, and field test). The results showed that the test instrument system of linear equations of two variables based on Bloom's taxonomy developed revisions of quality in this case are valid, reliable, and has the potential effect of high-level thinking skills test that can be completed by students according to the level of mathematical ability. High-ability students can take the test high capability to the level of creation, capable students were able to take the test high caliber to the level evaluate, and low-ability students are only able to work on high-ability test at level analyzes.Keywords: Design Tessmer formative research, high-level thinking skills, system of linear equations of two variables PENDAHULUANMatematika merupakan salah satu wahana untuk membentuk cara berpikir pada tatanan tingkat tinggi (menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta) atau Higher Order Thinking. Dalam pembelajaran matematika diharapkan siswa dengan sendirinya akan cermat dalam bekerja, kritis dalam berpikir, konsisten dalam bersikap dan jujur dalam berbagai situasi (Tiro, 2010). Menurut Permediknas No. 22 Tahun 2006, mata pelajaran Matematika perlu diberikan kepada semua peserta didik mulai dari sekolah dasar untuk membekali peserta didik dengan kemampuan berpikir logis, analitis, sistematis, kritis, dan kreatif, serta kemampuan bekerjasama. Berkaitan dengan tujuan pembelajaran matematika tersebut ternyata hal itu belum sepenuhnya di dapatkan siswa. Tergambar dalam proses pembelajaran matematika selama ini adalah pemberian soal-soal kepada siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan berpikir pada tatanan rendah (mengingat, memahami, dan mengaplikasikan) atau sering disebut Low Order Thinking.

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas Starter Experiment Approach (SEA) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk kuasi eksperimen dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Jatinom tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 4 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes berupa instrumen soal pretest dan posttest. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t, Normalized gain (N-gain). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakanStarter Experiment Approach (SEA) efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik pada pelajaran fisika dengan efek sedang (nilai sig(2-Tailed) = 0,041 < sig.α 0,05; persentase peningkatan peserta didik pada kategori tinggi adalah 8%, sedang adalah 38%, dan rendah adalah 54%; N-gain rata-rata kelas eksperimen = 0,33 > N-gain kelas kontrol = 0,20.Kata Kunci: Starter Experiment Approach (SEA), Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi, Pelajaran Fisika. Abstract. The aims of this research to know "the efectiveness starter experiment approach (SEA) toward high-order thinking skill of students." This research is a Quasi Experimentwith Nonequivalent Control Group Design. We used XI IPA as population. We used simple random sampling. We used pretest and posttest as instrument to gain/obtain our main data. T-test and Normalized-gain (N-gain) are used to analyze those data. We obtain score sig.(2-Tailed) = 0,041 < α = 0,05,the percentage increase in students in the high is 8%, moderate is 38%, and low is 54%, experiment class N-gain = 0,33 > control class N-gain = 0,20 These result show that experiment class has more effective than control class. It means starter experiment approach (SEA) proven to effective toward high-order thinking skill of students in physics.

This research aimed to improve the high-order thinking ability of students by applying PBL model in Environment Pollution of 10 th MIA 3 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. This study was a classroom action research followed the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart's, and conducted in two cycles, from April to May 2016. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The participants were 31 students (18 female and 13 male students) of 10 th MIA 3 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Data was obtained using essay test on the high-order thinking ability, interview, observation sheet on the implementation of PBL syntax, observation sheet on affective and psychomotor aspects of students. Essay test of high-order thinking ability includes: analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6) based on Bloom's revised taxonomy. Data analysis was descriptively. The target of research was the improvement of students' high-order thinking ability in every aspect more than 23% from based line to the end of research cycle. The result shows that the PBL model in environment pollution material is able to improve the high-order thinking ability of students by ≥23% from based line to the end of research cycle. The increase of percentage gain in each aspect of highorder thinking ability from pre-cycle to cycle II was as follows: 1) the analyzing aspect increased by 25.16%, 2) the evaluating aspect increased by 26.66%, and 3) the creating aspect increased by 23.95%.
