The effects of cooperative learning model think pair share assisted by animation media on learning outcomes of physics in high school

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share assisted by animation media on learning outcomes of physics in high school. This study was held in SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonrandomized pre-test post-test design. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling thus that the experimental class and control class were obtained. The experimental class uses a cooperative learning model Think Pair Share assisted by ani… Show more

“…They are reported by diverse papers, particularly in addressing inquiry-based learning [259][260][261][262], project-based learning [263][264][265], and problem-based learning [266][267][268]. Moreover, Indonesian PER scholars are motivated to adapt physics learning through the lens of a cooperative framework (social learning theory), i.e., collaborative game-based learning [109], think pair share (TPS) [112], time token [269], and social learning cycle [270].…”

“…The traditional approach is defined as more teacher-centered learning and one-way communication from teacher to student (Astra et al, 2020;Rahayu et al, 2019). Currently, the learning method that is often used is the mastery of the concept of disability.…”

“…Physics learning is a branch of natural science that includes facts, concepts, principles, laws, and everyday life (Deta et al, 2021;Fayanto et al, 2019;Sugiarti & Ratnanigdyah, 2021). In this physics lesson, students must be more active in seeking, investigating, and developing to gain more meaningful and indepth mastery of concepts (Astra et al, 2020;Rahayu et al, 2019;Widyaningsih et al, 2020). In learning physics, you do not only remember what you have learned, but you also have to have the right concept (Dewi et al, 2021;Didik & Aulia, 2019;Lin, 2016;Meilani, 2016).…”
