The analysis of farmers’ access mechanism and social network in community-based forest management programs in Garut Regency, West Java Province Indonesia

Abstract: This study aims to analyze access mechanisms and social networks formed in community-based forest management programs. “…The supervisory function in the PHBM system belongs to the farmers, although there are also forest rangers, but these actors tend to be antagonistic towards the program. The idea of giving supervisory authority to farmers is supported by Tridakusumah et al (2021) that stated farmers are needed to maintain forest security and conservation.
