Cervical cancer is the third most common type of cancer amongst women, compared to other neoplasms, with a higher potential for prevention, slow evolution, and has a simple and effective screening test in its detection, cure when diagnosed early. The routine examination in Brazil for the prevention of this type of cancer is the Pap smear test. This study aimed to reveal the knowledge and practice regarding the Pap smear test among cytopathologists. A descriptive and exploratory research, a qualitative approach, performed with 21 cytopathologists, by e-mailing a data collection instrument, from March to April 2018. Data were treated using the Hierarchical Descending Classification in IraMuTeQ software and analyzed by the Discourse of the Collective Subject. The construction of the results was carried out based on aspects of the knowledge of the cytopathologists about the Pap smear, related to the importance of the completion of the post-graduation for its accomplishment, and aspects of cytopathologists practice regarding the relevance of performing the early diagnosis of cervical cancer. We conclude on the need to reorganize the activities in the work process of the health professionals involved in the Pap smear.

As tecnologias educativas e inclusivas compõem duas realidades presentes na escola. Todavia, existe um longo percurso para que o uso das tecnologias da informação e da comunicação promova as tão desejadas práticas inclusivas em contextos de educação formal e não-formal. A relevância sobre a temática de orientação ao adolescente com deficiência visual quanto a prevenção e promoção de Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis é indiscutível. Utilizar as tecnologias educativas de forma fundamentada e planificada pode gerar atitudes positivas frente à diversidade e proporcionar ganhos à nível acadêmico e social, do desenvolvimento de um sentido de comunidade e das práticas não-discriminatórias, que são as componentes da filosofia inclusiva. O presente estudo investigou a eficácia da utilização das tecnologias educativas na promoção de saúde sexual do adolescente com deficiência visual e conheceu as suas percepções acerca da sexualidade. Foi utilizada uma abordagem qualitativa, por meio do método descritivo- exploratório; utilizando um formulário com perguntas semiestruturadas. Os sujeitos envolvidos nessa pesquisa foram usuários do Educandário São José dos Operários, situado no município de Campos dos Goytacazes, com idade entre 15 anos e 18 anos. Conhecer as percepções dos adolescentes com deficiência visual acerca de sua sexualidade oportunizou verificar que esses adolescentes carecem de informações e conhecimentos com relação a diversas questões que envolvem a sexualidade. Sendo assim, podemos concluir que a educação em saúde e a educação inclusiva caminham lado a lado na proposta da acessibilidade e empoderamento do deficiente visual para o cuidado de saúde, bem como no âmbito da saúde sexual e reprodutiva para a prevenção de infecções sexualmente transmissíveis.

“…There are no studies in the male population under this framework, although they are present in other publics and contexts. [10][11][12][13] Anchored in the premises of health promotion 14 , professionals from the Family Health Strategy (FHS), from the Basic Health Unit -BHU Paraisópolis II, managed in partnership by the Albert Einstein Hospital, located in the south of the city of São Paulo, developed a project to organize and strengthen basic care, according to principles and guidelines of the UHS: a socio--educational, multiprofessional group, focused on human health, called "Pub Talk". Since 2013, meetings of this group have been held in pubs in the Paraisópolis community, with the presence of 15 local men, on average, and with the participation of a health team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, community health agents (CHA), as well as professionals from the Family Health Support Center (FHSC), who support the actions of this Group.…”

Objective: To evaluate the execution process of dialogical actions of a socio-educational group called “Pub Talk”, created by professionals of the Paraisópolis II Basic Health Unit, recognizing challenges related to men’s health. Method: Comprehensive evaluative research, which parameters were conceptual aspects of the Nola Pender’s model. Interviews were conducted with the professionals and the focus group with men participating in the Group, analyzing three components of this model: individual experiences and characteristics; feelings and knowledge about the behavior one wants to achieve; desirable health promotion behavior. Results: The group is a self-care guiding intervention; values scientific and popular knowledge, with protagonism of those involved; covers the prevention of disease and changes of habits; has different perceptions regarding the structural and technical aspects of the meetings. Conclusion: Dialogic actions contributed to the promotion of the health of the participants by favoring the (re)cognition of determinants of their health and living conditions.
