“…Birds consumed carotenoid supplemented diet as a part of nutrient improves performance and product quality (Langi et al., 2018; Zhu et al., 2018). Dietary addition of pigments to poultry diet improves the colour of skin, flesh and egg yolk (De Carvalho, Cipolli, Ormenese, Carvalho, & da Silva, 2009; Hamelin, Martinez‐Aleson, & Martínez, 2013). “…A característica pigmentação da gema foi afetada pela adição do extrato oleoso de urucum e a oleoresina de páprica na ração, expresso pela equação de regressão (y = 4,1108 + 17,0349x; R 2 = 0,34). Em conformidade estimada com isso, Carvalho et al (2009) encontraram resultados semelhantes, quando avaliaram a utilização de sementes de urucum em níveis de 1%, 1,25%, 1,50% e 1,75%, mostrando coloração da gema entre T1 (grupo controle) -12,09 a T5 (1,75%) -36,42, verificaram aumento significativo entre os tratamentos e o grupo controle.…”
