Study on the Suitability of Green Mussel (Perna viridis) Culture in North Sea Waters of Java, Ketapang Village, Tangerang District, Banten Province

“…Terpenoids are compounds that have many variations in biochemical structures and have a variety of different functions (Jiang et al, 2016). Not all types of terpenoids can be a chemical signal for the attachment process, such as the type of Sesquiterpene (+) -elatol which is responsible for the association between L. dendroidea seaweed and sea rabbit A. brasiliana (Nocchi et al, 2017), while the polygodial Sesquiterpene becomes chemical compounds inhibiting the attachment of blue shellfish Mytilus edulis galloprovincialis (Fahrudin and Susanto, 2019).
