“…However, motion artifacts (MAs) are a big problem, not only for flocked electrodes but also for many types of dry electrodes, because contact between the skin and the dry electrode is unstable. Therefore, in a dry electrode, the surface of the electrode and the design of the electrode’s mechanical properties are important in MAs reduction, which has been previously achieved by providing cushioning 2022 to a dry electrode, or by sticking the electrode into the skin with a small needle 23–25 . However, in the case of a wearable measurement system, not only the surface and mechanical properties, but also contact pressure is significant.…”

“…Another advantage offered by MN‐based biopotential electrodes is their ability to neglect the skin‐potential variation (SPV). The SPV consists of small changes in the skin potential that occur when mechanical pressure is applied to the stratum corneum , such as upon the insertion of an electrode . While this can usually be corrected for in a clinical setting, it remains an obstacle in the development of continuous‐use monitoring systems, as small pressure differences resulting from regular motion can result in meaningful changes of SPV.…”

“…Recently, Pei et al have developed an MN‐based electrode system capabale of neglecting these small changes in SPV. In this system, the portion of the MNs in contact with the stratum corneum was coated with an insulating layer, leaving only the tips exposed deeper in the tissue . As such, the electrodes are unaffected by the slight mechanical pressures caused by regular motion, potentially paving the way for continuous‐use biopotential monitoring systems.…”

“…Since, wet electrodes are contacted and covered the skin by the usage of an electrolyte gel so as to cause itchiness, blushing and swelling . The signals from human skin are transformed to acquisition gadget by bio‐potential electrodes …”

“…14 The signals from human skin are transformed to acquisition gadget by bio-potential electrodes. 15 The cardiovascular electrical action, heart pulse variations and real-time constant heart rates are monitored and saved by the remote ECG patches which are recently accessible in market. 16 These screens are either transferring the crude information towards a primary station or save the information in memory on behalf of later investigation.…”
