The number of unethical academic dishonesty behaviours is increasing with each day in higher education. Thus, it is important to determine the level of the behaviour of academic dishonesty in the education system, the tendencies of students to perform this behaviour, and the individuals who have a tendency to show this behaviour in advance. The research has two different aims. The first one is to determine the psychometric properties of the Academic Dishonesty Tendency Scale (ADTS) originally developed for undergraduate students, not for graduate students. The second aim is to investigate the variables that best explain the academic dishonesty tendency levels of the students who continue their graduate education by using the CHAID analysis method. As a result of the analyses, it was determined that the Academic Dishonesty Tendency Scale is also a valid and reliable measurement tool for graduate students. The only significant variable explaining the students’ Tendency Towards Cheating was found to be the level of graduate education. It was also determined that the most important variable affecting the “dishonesty tendency at studies as homework, project, etc.–common” is the level of graduate education. The only significant variable explaining the “dishonesty tendency at research and process of write up” was found to be the reason for receiving graduate education. The most significant variable explaining the “dishonesty tendency towards reference” of the students was found to be the level of graduate education. It was determined that the most significant variable explaining the Academic Dishonesty Tendency of the students is the level of graduate education.

This study, it was aimed to determine the predisposition levels of teachers and teacher candidates to ethical values. The sample of the study consisted of 1305 educators, 784 teachers, and 521 teacher candidates in 15 different branches in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample of the research conducted in the relational screening model was selected by a simple random sampling method. In the research, "The scale of the inclination to ethical values" developed by Kaya (2015) was used as a data collection tool. The scale has three dimensions: love, justice, and cooperation. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean (x̄), standard deviation, frequency, percentage, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal Wallis test were used and a .05 significance level was taken into account in the interpretation of the data. According to the research findings, teachers and teacher candidates got very high scores on the scale. While there was no difference in gender for the level of susceptibility to ethical values; significant results were reached in favor of teachers in terms of status; in favor of physical education teachers in-branch comparison; in favor of those with more than 16 years of service according to professional seniority and in favor of those who do regular physical activity. As a result of the research; it has been seen that teachers and teacher candidates are very inclined to ethical values and they internalize the value of love the most. Planning functional pre-service and in-service training for teacher candidates who have not yet started the profession or for teachers who are new to the profession; it is recommended that educators create an environment and time for regular physical activity.

Eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerine ahlaki ve etik değerlerin kimi zaman göz ardı edildiği durumlar ile karşılaşıla bilinmektedir. Bu davranışlardan biri olan kopya çekme, eğitsel süreçler içinde öğrencilerin gerçekleştirdiği etik ve ahlaki olmayan davranışlar içerisinde ele alınabilir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının kopya çekme davranışına yönelik görüşlerinin öğrenci, öğretmen ve gözetmen bağlamında incelenmesi ve kopya çekme nedenlerinin belirlenmesidir. Ayrıca öğretmen adayları, kopya çekme davranışını etik ve ahlaki değerler bağlamında nasıl değerlendirdiği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme ile belirlenmiş 28 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Bu araştırmanın ölçütü, Eğitimde Ahlak ve Etik dersini almak olarak belirlenmiştir. Verilerin toplanması için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Nvivo nitel analiz programında veriler içerik analizi çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmen adayları ile yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda katılımcılar kopya çekme nedenlerinin akademik, duyuşsal ve sistemsel nedenler şeklinde belirtmişlerdir. Değerler açısından kopya davranışını değerlendirirken ise gözetmen, öğrenci ve öğretmen bağlamında ele almışlardır.
