This study, it was aimed to determine the predisposition levels of teachers and teacher candidates to ethical values. The sample of the study consisted of 1305 educators, 784 teachers, and 521 teacher candidates in 15 different branches in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample of the research conducted in the relational screening model was selected by a simple random sampling method. In the research, "The scale of the inclination to ethical values" developed by Kaya (2015) was used as a data collection tool. The scale has three dimensions: love, justice, and cooperation. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean (x̄), standard deviation, frequency, percentage, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal Wallis test were used and a .05 significance level was taken into account in the interpretation of the data. According to the research findings, teachers and teacher candidates got very high scores on the scale. While there was no difference in gender for the level of susceptibility to ethical values; significant results were reached in favor of teachers in terms of status; in favor of physical education teachers in-branch comparison; in favor of those with more than 16 years of service according to professional seniority and in favor of those who do regular physical activity. As a result of the research; it has been seen that teachers and teacher candidates are very inclined to ethical values and they internalize the value of love the most. Planning functional pre-service and in-service training for teacher candidates who have not yet started the profession or for teachers who are new to the profession; it is recommended that educators create an environment and time for regular physical activity.
Bu araştırmada altyapı sporcularının ahlaki karar alma ve sporda ahlaktan uzaklaşma tutumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2021 yılında aktif-lisanslı olarak spor yapan ve basit tesadüfi yöntemle ulaşılan 870 sporcu oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama araçları olarak “Altyapı sporlarında ahlaki karar alma tutumları ölçeği” ve “Sporda ahlaktan uzaklaşma ölçeği kısa formu” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistik ve MANOVA teknikleri kullanılmış, verilerin yorumlanmasında .05 anlamlılık düzeyi dikkate alınmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre sporcuların, ahlaki karar alma tutumları iyi düzeyde ve ahlaktan uzaklaşma tutumları ise düşük düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kadın sporcuların puanları erkek sporculardan; Bireysel sporlarla uğraşanların tutumları takım sporcularından daha iyidir. Ortaokul ile lisede öğrenim gören sporcuların ahlaki karar alma tutumları ile ortaokulda öğrenim gören sporcuların ahlaktan uzaklaşma tutumları daha olumludur. 6 yıldan daha az sporla uğraşanların ahlaki karar alma tutumları daha yüksektir. Sportif başarı olması bakımından tutum puanlarında anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmamıştır. Sonuç olarak sporcuların ahlaki tutumları ve ahlaktan uzaklaşma tutumlarının iyi düzeyde olduğu söylenebilir.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the sportsmanship behaviors of secondary school students in physical education and sports lessons. The sample of the study consists of 949 students selected by simple random sampling, continuing their education in Hatay in the 2021-2022 academic year. “Physical Education Lesson Sportsmanship Behavior Scale” was used as a data collection tool in the research. Descriptive statistics, t, and ANOVA tests were performed in the analysis of the data. According to the research findings; it has been determined that the students' sportsmanship behaviors, exhibiting positive behaviors, avoiding negative behaviors, and in general in the scale are at a very good level. While there was no significant difference in the display of positive behaviors and overall scale according to gender, a significant difference was found in favor of female students in the dimension of avoiding negative behaviors. In the dimension of exhibiting positive behaviors, the sportsmanship scores of the 7th-grade students were found to be significantly lower than the other grade levels. In the dimension of avoiding negative behaviors, 6th-grade students' scores were higher than other grade levels. In general, the sportsmanship behaviors of the 6th-grade students were found to be higher than the 7th and 8th-grade levels. As a result of the research, it was determined that secondary school students' sportsmanship behaviors were very good, primarily by avoiding negative behaviors in physical education and sports lessons. In-depth research is recommended to determine why middle school students' sportsmanship behaviors differ.
