This research was based on the reality of the use of Indonesian language on social media that was vulgar, destructive, full of blasphemy, scorn, sarcasm, and tended to be provocative. This condition has destructive power because it spreads very quickly and is capable of arousing very strong emotions. This article aimed at presenting the results of research on the analysis model of impolite Indonesian language use. This model was developed from tracing status on social media which included language impoliteness in 2019. The novelty of this analysis model was that it involved a factor of power that allowed the appearance of such impolite speech. Therefore, this model is composed of several stages. First, presenting text in the form of spoken, written, and visual texts. Second, transcribing texts. Third, interpreting language impoliteness. At the interpreting stage, the impoliteness of the speeches was carried out by: (1) analyzing the contexts, (2) analyzing the power, (3) analyzing the dictions and language styles that contained impoliteness, (4) analyzing ethical speech acts, and (5) manipulating language politeness. From these language manipulation efforts, they were made to habituate language discipline to create a polite language society.

The use of social media is massively increased, but it has not been accompanied by the awareness of proper and polite language. As reported by the Tempo National Page, there were 476 complaints of hate speech on social media that were submitted to the Cyber Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Police from February 23 to May 11, 2021. This hate speech is a portrait of the lack of awareness of social media users to speak politely and the lack of awareness not to neglect the rights and honours of others. Language impoliteness on social media has destructive power, not only its spread is very fast, but it even has the potential to threaten the integrity of the nation. Therefore, this paper aims to map impolite words on social media status through the use of a digital corpus. By using qualitative descriptive research methods, it was found that there are two categories of impolite forms commonly used by netizens: first, negative connotations, 153 lexemes and second, potentially impolite neutral connotations, 26 lexemes. This form mapping can be used as a trigger so that social media users are aware of sorting, choosing, and using diction correctly.

This study aims to examine hate speeches that addressed to President Joko Widodo. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach that establishes the requirement that a study must be carried out on the basis of existing facts. The sources of data of this study were obtained from several mass media and social media from the haters of President Joko Widodo. This research data is in the form of phrase and clause which contained in status, caption, and video. The collected data was analyzed using data condensation, data display and data verification techniques to find out the types of hate speeches. The results showed that Frighten 42.9 %, and Call the other names 28.5 %, were the dominant types of hate speeches that had been viral and processed by the police used compared with the other types. Since the data are the products of violations of law, therefore it was proved that most speeches produced were categorized against the Law No 19 of 2016 about Information and Electronic Transactions.
