This study aims to describe the improvement of elementary school students' reading comprehension skills through blended learning. The population in this study was all fifth grade students of an international school in Serpong, Tangerang. Using a purposive sampling technique, in total 20 foreign students were involved as a sample in this study. Data were collected using tests and observations and then analyzed using the N-Gain test to see the improvement of students' reading comprehension skills. Descriptive analysis was also performed to see students' activities during the learning process. The results showed that the average students' scores on pre-test and post-test increased by 28 points with an average gain of n-gain of 0.84 in a high category. During the learning process, students also looked happy and enthusiastic in learning Indonesian. Learning Indonesian through blended learning was shown to improve the reading comprehension skills of foreign students. Therefore, blended learning can be used an alternative for solving the problem of limited time and the amount of materials that must be learned, thus giving a positive impact on the reading comprehension skills of foreign students learning Indonesian.
In the flipped classroom, students must have independent learning behavior to achieve optimal competence. However, the reality is that students' independence in learning is not good, so a teacher is supposed to carry out knowledge that can facilitate the formation of student learning independence. One of the lessons that can increase students' learning independence is the Flipped Classroom model with the help of interactive e-books. This study aims to conduct a literature review on the importance of improving student learning independence through the Flipped Classroom model based on Interactive e-books. The SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method was chosen in this study. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing all articles on learning independence that had similar research in this report. A total of 15 journal articles obtained from Google Scholar with the help of the publish and perish application were used in this study. Based on the literature review, it can be concluded that increasing the ability to learn independently is needed by students in learning, especially in online education with the interactive e-book-based flipped classroom model. Independent learning has a positive influence on students in education.

The purpose of this study is to determine the mathematics teaching materials needed by students to improve problem-solving skills. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were PGMI students in the Metro city, province of Lampung. Data collection uses a non-test method that uses a questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 16 questions, which included eight questions about the analysis of learning resources (teaching materials) and 8 questions about determining learning resources (teaching materials). The results of this study are 1) mathematics teaching materials that are used effectively help students understand mathematical material, but are not effective in helping students develop problem-solving skills, 2) students need mathematics teaching materials based on contextual approaches to improve problem-solving skills. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop mathematics teaching materials based on a contextual approach to improve problem-solving skills.
