Politeness of expression and character education are both crucial aspects, in the current era of disruption, especially concerning sociopragmatic political purposes. The realization of politeness acts of language in the context of communication and global communication has now penetrated without limits on social distance, time, and goals. The problem is the act of language in electronic media, especially Instagram, giving space to the user to be more open in expressing his goals and objectives, including to the president in relation to specific goals and politics. This study aims to identify the forms of positive politeness acts of followers' comments on President Jokowi's official Instagram account and describe the intent of politico pragmatic power of positive politeness of followers of Jokowi's Instagram accounts. The data source of this study was the speech of followers on the official Instagram account of Indonesian President Jokowi #MenujuIndonesiaMaju managed by the President's Digital Communication Team for the period October-November 2018. The study data were in the form of comments from Jokowi's Instagram account followers who had positive politico pragmatic politeness. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation, note-taking techniques, and continued with heuristic listening techniques. Data analysis was performed with an intralingual equivalent technique which was strengthened by an extra lingual equivalent and sharpened with Levinson's politeness analysis technique based on the principle of harmony in Javanese culture. The results of the study showed that the form of positive politeness acts that were most used by followers was by giving attention to the speech partners. Political propaganda power of dominant followers’ comments was in the form of the power to ask and support rather than the power of praise, the power of influence, the power of motivation, and the power of suggestion. It shows that Instagram account followers have an optimistic attitude towards Jokowi's leadership. Jokowi's managerial, and leadership performance has a positive face among followers. This power of praise, motivation, and advice is an essential component in the formation of children's character education in the current era of disruption of education.
Indeks Perilaku Peduli Lingkungan (IPPL) masyarakat Indonesia pada tahun 2012 berada pada kisaran angka 0,57 dari angka mutlak 1 (Kambuaya, 2013). Berdasarkan data tersebut, menunjukkan kepedulian lingkungan masyarakat Indonesia masih cukup rendah. Hal ini sejalan dengan kondisi yang ditemui tim KKNDik FKIP UMS MIM Kranggan. Oleh karena itu, tim KKNDik FKIP UMS MIM Kranggan mencanangkan dan melaksanakan program cinta lingkungan untuk menguatkan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa di MIM Kranggan. Program cinta lingkungan ini merupakan integrasi dari beberapa kegiatan, sehingga metode yang digunakan pun beragam, yaitu sosialisasi, pemberian reward, gerakan kebaikan, dan praktik langsung. Program cinta lingkuan ini terdiri dari empat kegiatan, yaitu sosialisasi PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat), lomba kebersihan kelas, gerakan membawa tumbler, dan gerakan menanam pohon. Program ini menghasilkan hasil yang positif, yaitu berupa meningkatnya kepedulian siswa untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah. Pengabdian ini jika dilakukan di seluruh Indonesia, mampu menciptakan manusia-manusia yang bertanggung jawab dan memberikan dampak yang siginfikan terhadap terjaganya lingkungan di Indonesia, serta mampu memberikan efek positif pada sektor yang lain, seperti terjaminnya kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia.
Many Indonesian teachers of Senior High School have used a lecturing method. Indonesian learning, it is necessary for them to implement an appropriate method and have a high creativity as well as make innovation. For them, a cooperative-based learning innovation is considered difficult and costly. Therefore, they remain to implement a lecturing method. The problems are that a cooperative-based learning has seldom been implemented and they have frequently used a lecturing method. In Indonesian learning, thus, it is necessary to implement a new strategy, called paragraph development and questions-answers between students. The strategy makes the students active, creative, and pleasurable because it focuses on cooperation in its implementation.Kata kunci: pembelajaran, pengembangan paragraf, dan tanya jawab antarsiswa.
It is obvious that the textbooks play a key role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. The good quality textbooks must meet the criteria or standard as a textbook. This paper aims to describe the accuracy of materials provided in the Bahasa Indonesia textbook for the first grade of Senior High School curriculum of 2013. This study adopted the content analysis method to analyze the data. The findings deriving from this study reveal that the accuracy of learning material provided in Bahasa Indonesia textbook for the first grade of Senior High School (Sekolah Menengah Atas) curriculum of 2013 published by Erlangga has adequately met the standard requirements of Board of National Education Standards (Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan, BSNP) for the accuracy of learning material of a textbook. However, this study found some weaknesses in the textbook as follows: (1) The textbook has not provided a ‘Competency Map’ containing principles used by students to achieve their learning goals and understand the learning materials provided in each chapter in order that the materials delivered can be well-structured. (2) The examples provided in the textbook are less relevant to the characteristics of diverse backgrounds and social statuses; contain the issues of ethnicity, religion, race, intergroup relations; and do not suit the needs. Coaching, Prevention, Deviant behavior, Juvenile delinquencyThis study aimed to identify models of coaching conducted by schools in dealing with the deviant behavior of adolescent of high school students. Data in this study were collected through written interviews. Written interviews were conducted for first semester students of the Indonesian Education, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, UMS. They were just graduated from high school with experience as observers and / or juvenile delinquents that occurred in school. In addition, interviews were also conducted with senior high school counseling teachers in Surakarta. This written interview was conducted in snowball which was then analyzed by content analysis. The results showed that there were 7 models in coaching that the school carried out, namely: (1) giving advice, (2) giving motivation, (3) giving guidance and calling on guardians of students, (4) socializing the introduction of the school environment during MOS, (5) penalties adjusted for the type of violation, (6) basic leadership training, and (7) home visit. The form of guidance given is adjusted to the violations committed by students. PENDAHULUANPakar pendidikan telah melakukan banyak kajian terhadap kurikulum, strategi pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, hingga bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran. Kajian tersebut dilakukan semata-mata untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sehingga mampu menjalankan amanat dalam UU No. 20 tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional Bab II pasal 3 yang menyatakan bahwa pendidikan nasional memiliki fungsi untuk mengembangkan kemampuan, membentuk watak, dan peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa.Selain itu, tujuan pendidikan nasional adalah mengembangkan potensi siswa sehingga menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, berilmu, sehat, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, serta mampu menjadi warga negara yang demokratis dan bertanggung jawab.
This study aims to 1) describe the use of confixes in descriptive texts for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pedan and 2) describe the meaning of using confixes in descriptive texts for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pedan. The type of research used is qualitative by using descriptive methods in describing the data found. The data in this study are the use of confixes in descriptive text essays, while the source of data in this study is descriptive text essays for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pedan. The data collection technique used is listen and note. Test the validity of the data using the document triangulation technique. Data analysis carried out in this study is an interactive analysis model. The result of this research is that the use of confix found in this study has six kinds of forms of conflict, namely ke-an, pe-an, role, ber-an, se-nya, and se-an. The researcher found 48 data from 32 student essays in the form of the use of confixes. The use of confixes includes 22-word confixes, 11-word verb confixes, 5-word role-playing confixes, 5-word confixes, 4-word se-an confixes, and 1-word confixes. said. The use of confixes can be formed through four basic elements, including adjectives, verbs, nouns, and adverbs. The meanings contained in the data are 26, including 9 meanings of the confix, 7 meanings, 4 role confixes, 3 meanings, 3 meanings, 2 meanings, and confix se-an as much as 1 meaning.
This study aims to describe the form of children's language acquisition in an urban educated environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Language acquisition is obtained through what is heard and practiced with the language and words they have. The subjects in this study were children aged three years in an educated environment in the city of Surakarta with a focus on the form of children's language. Methods of data collection in research using the observation method, recording technique, and note taking technique, the researcher only acts as an observer of the use of language obtained from informants. Furthermore, after obtaining some research data, the data was recorded on the data card according to the type of data. The results of the research on the form of language acquisition for children aged three years in an urban educated environment have language acquisition in the form of declarative, introgative, and imperative sentences. This sentence gets news sentences, explanations, information, and details to someone or the other person.
