Children from private schools performed better on the motor test (Cardoso et al, 2014), as well as having fewer reports of motor coordination problems by teachers compared to those from public schools (Magalhães et al, 2009b). Valentini et al (2015) pointed out one of the highest rates (18% of children with probable DCD and more than 15% for DCD risk) when investigating the prevalence of DCD in socially disadvantaged children in Brazil, and the socioeconomic status is determinant in 21% in MABC percentile variation.…”
