Privacy‐friendly weighted‐reputation aggregation protocols against malicious adversaries in cloud services

Abstract: Reputation systems are used for evaluating trustworthiness of the users based on their feedback (i.e., votes) about each other. Such systems are particularly important for cloud service providers, as they allow them to collect and aggregate feedback on the past behavior of users. Weighted-reputation aggregation is a protocol, where the vote server has a weight vector E W D ¹w 1 ; w 2 ; ; w n º for all voters, each voter has a vote score y i , and they cooperate to compute P n iD1 w i y i . We call it 'privacy-… Show more

“…Transformation of the previous technological platform demands a well-planned methodology, which is regarded as a thoughtful process and turns out to be a challenge for large firms. 24 Considering the challenges associated with the migration of enterprise application to the cloud, Huang 25 suggested a trustworthy and efficient way for such migrations. Gholami et al 24 have discussed various methodologies to migrate the previously existing systems to the cloud.…”

“…Most of the legacy systems lack their operability and applicability on the cloud, so it is required to re-engineer the existing systems or adopt the new one. 24 Considering the challenges associated with the migration of enterprise application to the cloud, Huang 25 suggested a trustworthy and efficient way for such migrations. While adopting cloud PLM, it is very much essential to collaborate all the technical and business enterprise systems to be integrated and interoperable for improved firm's performance.…”

“…Truong‐Huu and Tham proposed a game theoretic model to help both cloud providers and user industries in integrating cloud computing in different organizations. Zhang et al showed that there are several privacy protocols that need to be taken care of before adopting cloud computing. Wang et al proposed a modified model with resource allocation in the cloud adoption in organization.…”

“…In the same year, Aleem and Sprott 18 and Lenart 19 portrayed cloud computing as one of the most useful technologies for sharing and integrating information in any organization. Challenges for the adoption of different technologies have been discussed in various literature authored by Rimal et al, 16 Hsu et al, 4 Huang et al, 13 Zhang et al, 20 and Misra et al 21 With the development of ICs, small chip size increases the complexity of logic circuit. The bottleneck in IC design is its strong dependency on requirement of the state of art equipment, especially for small and medium-sized industries that do not have the ability to have strong servers or hardware acceleration simulation.…”
