The purpose of this study is to explore the assessment of emotions and social skills of sixth-year primary education students in a physical education (PE) teaching unit. Two instruments of analysis are used: the GES (Games and Emotion Scale) to evaluate emotions, and an ad-hoc questionnaire to measure the social skills of 21 students in their sixth year of primary education. The data analysis was carried out using a generalised estimating equation model (GEE), taking into account the correlation between the different scores of the same subject and the asymmetry of the data. The results show that positive emotions (happiness and joy) are significantly more highly evaluated than negative (fear, anger, and sadness) and ambiguous (surprise) emotions throughout all of the PE sessions.

Key Soft Skills in the Orientation Process and Level of Employability

We understand soft skills as an integrated set of knowledge, skills and values that facilitate the effective, affective and efficient development of a skill or activity. The objective of this study was to identify the soft skills that are most often used in the orientation process and those that improve employability, according to Spanish counselors. A qualitative methodology was used. The participants (n = 57) were orientation professionals. A total of 273 interviews were conducted over five years. The results and conclusions show that communication and decision-making are the most important competencies in the orientation process and at the level of employability, followed by intrapersonal skills, skills in interpersonal relationships, teamwork, problem solving, adaptation to new situations, creativity and leadership.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap pengaruh physical activity terhadap emotion dan social skills. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design With More Than One Experimental Group. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa ekstrakurikuler SMK Plus Pratama Adi sebanyak 48 siswa usia 17 tahun. Instrumen penelitian emotion menggunakan angket Games and Emotion Scale (GES) dan instrumen penelitian social skills menggunakan angket social skills Social Scale Rating System (SSRS). Analisis data menggunakan independent samples t-test. Hasil penelitian menyatakan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan perilaku yang lebih maju di kalangan siswa Sekolah Kejuruan salah satunya adalah emotion dan social skills dan terdapat pengaruh physical activity terhadap emotion dan social skills.
