Resumo:As turbulências causadas pelas crises financeiras mundiais não se restringem aos seus países de origem, portanto tem um papel importante na estrutura econômica e política dos demais países. Severas turbulências alteram a situação existente e forçam os países e investidores a tomarem decisões cruciais que terão impacto na estrutura de outros países. Este artigo tem como objetivo identificar as correlações entre as variáveis econômicas e o PIB, em períodos de crises financeiras. Para isso, foram analisadas 13 variáveis macroeconômicas em 8 períodos de crises financeiras mundiais sendo utilizadas as pesquisas bibliográfica e documental e a metodologia de correlação linear de Pearson.

Severe turbulence alters the existing situation and forces countries and investors to make crucial decisions that will impact the structure of other countries. This article aims to identify the correlations between economic variables and GDP, during periods of financial crises. For that, 13 macroeconomic variables were analyzed in 8 periods of global financial crises, using bibliographical and documentary research and Pearson's linear correlation methodology.
