White oyster mushrooms are one of the food commodities that have been widely consumed by Indonesian people, either in the form of ready-to-eat or processed foods. Oyster mushrooms possess various great potencies, either related to nutritional or economic values. This has been leading to the presence of business related to cultivation of oyster mushrooms (including white oyster mushrooms), one of which is in Small-Medium Enterprises of Rumah Jamur, which is located in Village of Arah Condong, Sub-district of Stabat Baru, District of Langkat, Province of North Sumatera. However, the business of oyster mushroom cultivation in Small-Medium Enterprises of Rumah Jamur is still not well established, hence the implementation of effective and efficient strategies is required. The determination of those strategies is conducted by using SWOT analysis in a quantitative manner. The SWOT analysis was performed according to the current situation of UMKM Rumah Jamur, including the aspect of facilities, cultivation techniques, post-harvest handling techniques, as well as sales. The results of SWOT analysis towards the business of oyster mushroom cultivation in UMKM Rumah Jamur indicates that there are four types of alternative strategies that can be implemented in this business, which are strategy of S-O, strategy W-O, strategy S-T, dan strategy W-T.
