One of the ways to increase regional income is from regional tourism development. Kaliurang is an area in Sleman Regency that is considerably potential in the tourism sector. In this area,, there are many tours that offer natural and artificial tourism. A tourism object of the Festival of Light Kaliurang is a family tour that offers entertainment of dancing fountains and beautiful lantern lights. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation taken from Sleman Regency Tourism Office, Cikal Bintang Bangsa Company, and Hargobinangun Community at the Kaliurang Festival of Light. The findings of the research show that the collaboration process of Sleman Regency Tourism Office and Cikal Bintang Bangsa Company is to decide and initiate a collaboration network because both parties have the same goals, and one of them is to increase the potential of tourist visits in Kaliurang. The two parties made a new innovation that had never existed before, by creating tourism objects in the afternoon until evening. The development of small and medium industries (SMIs) is proven to be able to improve the national economy through labour permeation. Technically, every increase of one company will be able to permeate at least double workers. Furthermore, the development of SMIs in Indonesia is majority dominated by western Indonesia than eastern Indonesia. SMIs in eastern Indonesia, especially North Maluku Province, still has great potential to be developed to compete with other Provinces in eastern Indonesia and other Provinces in Indonesia through collaborative governance. This study employs literature research with a qualitative descriptive approach and secondary data analysis. This study aims to describe and analyse the supporting factors of the collaborative governance implementation in the development of SMIs in North Maluku Province. The results of the analysis of secondary data show that the potential for natural resources originating from fishery and plantation commodities, cultural aspects/local wisdom in social society, and the existence of regulations/laws are all factors driving the collaboration process.

Secara umum pemilihan kepala Desa secara langsung merupakan bagian terpenting dalam menjalankan demokrasi di tingkat Desa dalam mekanisme suksesi elit yang ada di Desa. Pemilihan Kepala Desa merupakan salah satu amant yang sudah tertuang dalam Undang-Undang 6 tahun 2014 tentang Desa yang mana memberikan hak yang seluas-luasnya dalam menjalankan Demokratisasi di tingkat Desa. Penelitin ini akan membahas tentang bagaimana keterpilihan calon kepala Desa dalam pemilihan kepala Desa serentak di Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Pemalang tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Deskriptif kualitatif yang akan menjabarkan tentang bagaimana secara umum keterpilihan para peserta pemilihan kepala Desa serentak ini. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa dari total 16 Desa yang mengikuti Pemilihan Kepala Desa serentak ini ternyata Petahana atau kepala Desa lama yang mencalonkan lagi memiliki kesempatan yang lebih besar untuk menang kembali menjadi kepala Desa. Terbukti dari total 11 petahana ada 7 orang yang memang terpilih lagi menjadi kepala Desa dan 4 orang petahana tidak terpilih lagi menjadi kepala Desa. Itu semua menunjukkan bahwa ditingkat Desa sekalipun Petahana memiliki kesempatan keterpilihan yang lebih besar untuk menang di Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Pemalang.
