The purpose of the research is to study the influence of organic fertilizers produced on the basis of the latest technologies, with a balanced content of trivalent chromium on the growth and development of Elena's buckwheat plants under the conditions of the Western Forest-Steppe. Field and laboratory investigations were carried out in the conditions of the western forest-steppe during 2013-2016 at the experimental field of the Podilsky State Agrarian-Technical University. The soil of the experimental site -black earth is a typical heavy-granular granulometric composition. Organic fertilizers "Bioproferm" and "Bioaktiv" and mineral fertilizers in the form of N 120 P 80 K 80 were introduced under the basic soil cultivation, "Biohrom" -during the vegetation of Elena buckwheat. Agro-technology buckwheat breeding is generally accepted for the conditions of the western forest-steppe of Ukraine. Concomitant studies and observations are performed according to generally accepted techniques. The results of the four-year research on the influence of organic fertilizers produced by the method of biological fermentation and the method of cavitation with balanced content of tri-chromium on the growth and development of Elena's buckwheat plants in the conditions of the western foreststeppe are highlighted. It was established that in the variants of application of organic fertilizers Bioactive, Bioproperty, the field similarity of the buckwheat seed was 4.4-8.1% higher compared with the control at the density of plants standing in the phase of stacks of 3,308-3,448 million pounds/ha, or, respectively, at 0.184-0.324 million pounds/ha more compared to control. The viability of plants in these variants was 94.7-96.4%, or was 4.6-6.3% higher compared to control. The highest field similarity -86.2% and survival -96.4% was due to the introduction of 10 t/ha of organic fertilizer "Bioproferm" and spraying during vegetation with liquid organic fertilizer "Biohrom" at a dose of 5 l/ha. The use of organic fertilizers BioProms (10 t/ ha), produced by the method of biological fermentation, with a balanced content of trivalent chromium under the basic cultivation of soil and liquid organic fertilizer Biohrom (5 l/ha), made by the method of cavitation, during the vegetation of plants contributed the creation of more productive agrocenoses, which significantly accelerate the assimilation processes of buckwheat plants and increase the area of their leaf surface. In the phase of budding, it was 10.8 thousand m 2 /ha more, and in the flowering phase -by 8.1 thousand m 2 /ha more compared to the control. Львівський національний університет ветеринарної медицини та біотехнологій імені С. З. Гжицького, вул. Пекарська, 50, м. Львів, 79010, Україна Досліджували активність антиоксидантної системи та рівень пероксидного окиснення ліпідів у печінці щурів з алоксан-індукованим діабетом та за впливу цитрату хрому, який випоювали тваринам протягом місяця в кількості 0,1 і 0,2 мкг/мл води. Цукровий діабет експериментально викликали внутрішньоочеревинним введенням 5 % розчину моногідрату алоксану в кількості 150 мг/кг маси тіла. Діабет виявляли вимірюванням глюкози в крові, зібраної з хвостової вени. На 40-й день досліду після декапітації тварин було відібрано тканину печінки для досліджень. У гомогенаті печінки щурів контрольної діабетичної групи встановлено вірогідне зростання вмісту гідропероксидів ліпідів та ТБК-активних продуктів. За випоювання цитрату хрому в кількості 0,1 мкг/мл вміст гідропероксидів ліпідів та ТБК-активних продуктів у печінці знижувався щодо їхнього рівня у тканині тварин діабетичної контрольної групи. У печінці тварин контрольної діабетичної групи виявлено вірогідне зниження активностей каталази, супероксиддисмутази, глутатіонпероксидази, глутатіонредуктази та вмісту відновленого глутатіону. Однак за впливу цитрату хрому в кількості 0,1 і 0,2 мкг/мл води показники нормалізувалися, а саме зростали активності каталази, супероксиддисмутази, глутатіонпероксидази та збільшувався вміст відновленого глутатіону порівняно з їхніми рівнями у печінці тварин діабетичної контрольної групи. Вірогідні зміни вмісту продуктів пероксидного окиснення ліпідів та активності ензимів антиоксидатної системи у печінці найкраще проявлялися за використання цитрату хрому в кількості 0,1 мкг/мл води. Ці показники свідчать про нормалізацію антиоксидантного захисту за впливу цитрату хрому у тканинах щурів з експериментально індукованим діабетом.
