Participação em saúde: concepções e práticas de trabalhadores de uma equipe da estratégia de Saúde da Família

Abstract

A Estratégia de Saúde da Família propõe a reestruturação da atenção primária a partir da comunidade assistida em seu contexto. Neste sentido, a participação social é imprescindível no diagnóstico, definição de prioridades, acompanhamento e avaliação do trabalho. O trabalhador de saúde tem papel fundamental para criar ambiente e condições favoráveis à participação. Os objetivos foram descrever as concepções/práticas de participação de uma equipe de Saúde da Família e implementar processo de reflexão sobre estas questões, utilizando metodologia problematizadora. Foram realizados seis encontros, que foram gravados, transcritos e analisados em seu conteúdo. Constatou-se que as concepções e práticas da equipe são atravessadas pela visão medicalizante, fator que consideramos limitante ao avanço da participação. A metodologia problematizadora permitiu identificar, com a equipe, a importância, os limites e possibilidades à prática da participação junto ao usuário, o que pode corroborar para o aumento da consciência acerca de seu papel mediador.
