Modernização caricata e acumulação capitalista na Amazônia: o caso da região de Carajás

Abstract: O artigo demonstra que, na região amazônica de Carajás, o ideário de transformação por via de modernização impulsionou diversas estratégias desenvolvimentistas cujos resultados diferem das expectativas.
