In this paper the authors analyze subjective experiences on different levels (cognitive, emotional-sensory, motivational-volitional) of the people with military disability. The authors state the qualitative changes of perception, selfconsciousness, body image, activity levels, and expression of emotions which can be viewed as an altered state of consciousness. It serves as a background for the mental activity of a disabled person. The authors consider some of the forms of social alienation of the people with military disability. Based on defining the altered state of consciousness as both adaptive and non-adaptive way for expressing one's feelings, need, wishes, emotions, it can be concluded that a person with military disability can use the adaptive way to change one's state of consciousness to find new ways of harmonizing its inner experience and feelings.

The study deals with educational activity as the basis for solving the problems of contemporary education in the context of globalisation. Our research methodology is a social and philosophical analysis of educational activity problems. We attract attention to the existing contradictions between rationality and morality, virtuality and reality, transnational globalism and national cultures, all of which lead to conflicts and crises. Changes in the specifics of social development requires actualising the consolidating function of educational activity, fighting the dominance of mass culture, the reasons behind terrorism, environmental disasters and other global problems. We specify those properties of educational activity that ensure optimum interaction of all components of social development and stability of the social and natural system consisting of educational activity, the individual and social being. We validate the necessity of transforming educational activity into any other activity that deals with transferring knowledge and forming specific skills and abilities and transforms a standard type of activity into an individual activity style that consolidates the society. Transformation of educational activity into economic, political, environmental, scientific and other types of activity consolidates the society in the context of globalisation and ensures stable development on the global scale.

This article is devoted to the challenges faced by humanities education in the age of global digitization. A precondition of the research is the antinomicity of the concepts of humanitarian knowledge and digitalization. The research objective is to confirm the significance of humanitarian knowledge in formation of conceptual thinking as a basic skill of intelligent activity in modern world. The research applied comparative analytical method, on the basis of which the features of formation of conceptual thinking in modern school and university were considered, the significance of humanitarian knowledge was substantiated as a basis of formation of conceptual thinking, as axiological basis of personal and civil education of students, formation of social intellect, patriotism, civil and personal responsibility. The features of the use of visual aids are analyzed as deforming method upon formation of conceptual thinking of modern students in the age of total digitization, as well as the experience of distance learning in humanities under the pandemic conditions. It is concluded that the humanitarian knowledge is the most important resource in formation of conceptual thinking as a basic component of intelligent development, socialization and fostering of civil and personal self-consciousness of students in higher school.
