Measuring logistics performance of OECD countries via fuzzy linear regression

Abstract: In logistics, performance measurement has been considered as a key competency to acquire world class performance. In light of this, we presented a robust methodology to establish an analysis framework for measuring logistics performance. The proposed hybrid methodology is a combination of criteria importance through intercritera correlation (CRITIC), simple additive weighting (SAW), and Peters' fuzzy regression methods. To the best of our knowledge, country-based logistics performance is seldom studied in the … Show more

“…Since the World Bank has started to publish LPIs at the global level, these indicators have attracted increasing interest from scholars and policy-makers, particularly in recent years. Scholars have used them in various decision-making tools (Çakır, 2017; Martí et al , 2017), whereas policy-makers are more focussed on LPI meanings and data utilities for particular countries (OECD/ITF, 2015; Veenstra, 2015). However, both argue that the applied LPI methodologies have weaknesses, to which they have accordingly proposed improvements (Martí et al , 2017; Perkins, 2016; Rezaei et al , 2018).…”
