House of Betang Damang Batu Tumbang Anoi is a milestone in the framework of human rights enforcement in Central Kalimantan. House of Betang Damang Batu Tumbang Anoi is a symbol of the people's struggle to live in peace, peace, and prosperity between the hostile tribes. These homes have now become a tourist attraction that can increase revenue for local communities and local revenue. The research concludes that the tourism sector of house Betang Damang Batu Anoi can improve the economy and income of the society especially to a local community in Palangka Raya.

The background to this research is that if a dispute occurs between Dayak people, especially those living in West Kotawaringin Regency, some choose to resolve the problem peacefully through the Bapalas custom. A traditional Mantir leads the Bapalas tradition, and the decision of this traditional Mantir is firm because it follows the elements of article 1320 BW. In article 1320 BW, there are four conditions for an agreement's validity: agreement, skill, a sure thing, and a lawful cause. So, if it is related to article 1320 BW, problems that occur in society can be resolved with an agreement. This tradition of Bapalas in the people of West Kotawaringin Regency follows Islamic law, known as Islah or peaceful problem-solving in Islam. This research analyzes the legal certainty aspect of traditional Mantir decisions in Bapalas. This research method is a field research method, and the approach is qualitative. What is very interesting is that this traditional Mantir can solve various civil and criminal problems. For criminal cases, several cases, such as fights and abuse, can also be resolved using the Bapalas method. The basis of this Dayak traditional institution is Central Kalimantan Province Regional Regulation Number 16 of 2008 concerning Dayak Traditional Institutions in Central Kalimantan.

Keterbukaan kultural masyarakat Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah telah membuat orang-orang Dayak mengadopsi tradisi-tradisi Kristen dengan cepat sejak Kristianitas masuk ke sana pada akhir dekade 1830-an. Namun, tidak semua komunitas Kristen dapat mendamaikan iman mereka dengan budaya asli. Banyak orang Dayak yang terus menghadapi dilema antara hidup sebagai orang Kristen “sejati” yang meninggalkan segala tradisi asli sama sekali, namun diperhadapkan dengan kekhawatiran akan punahnya budaya lokal, atau, di sisi lain, hidup sebagai orang-orang Kristen yang masih taat tradisi namun terhisab dalam praktik sinkretisme. Kabupaten Katingan secara umum merupakan daerah yang fenomenal karena memiliki cukup banyak komunitas Kristen yang masih terus hidup dalam agama asli mereka, Kaharingan. Kaharingan sendiri bukan sekadar agama melainkan sebuah aspek budaya dari masyarakat Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode-metode fenomenologis untuk meneliti GKE Resort Pendahara Katingan yang jemaat-jemaatnya masih terlibat aktif dalam praktik-praktik ritual dan tradisi leluhur Kaharingan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara-wawancara, dan penelitian kepustakaan, serta triangulasi data sebelum analisis dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari penelitian ini tim menemukan bahwa pada prinsipnya tidak semua budaya asli dari folk religion adalah buruk karena cukup banyak budaya yang justru menumbuhkan nilai-nilai susila, termasuk pemeliharaan pelestarian ekosistem dalam bingkai ekoteologi. Kearifan susila lokal mendukung dan sejalan dengan tradisi gereja, sebagaimana tampak dalam terminologi belom bahadat—sebuah istilah yang merujuk pada kehidupan yang arif dan benar seturut dengan kebenaran dari tradisi—yang berbicara tentang keramahtamahan terhadap sesama makhluk ciptaan dan bumi tempat manusia tinggal di dalamnya.
