This study aims to determine the strategy for the development of community-based tourism areas in Sebangau National Park, Central Kalimantan Province. Descriptive qualitative analysis derived from the SWOT method was applied as an analytical tool. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Correspondents consist of the local tourism office, Sebangau National Park office, Sebangau district official, Kereng Bangkirai officials, community leaders, local communities and visitors. The results show that, first, the strategy for the development of Sebangau National Park tourist area includes building infrastructure that supports tourism development, and cooperating with the private sector and the government to invest. Secondly, strategies based on SWOT analysis obtained alternative ST (Strength and Threats) strategies. These are, first, to utilize the strength and to pay attention to threats in increasing visits to the Park. Secondly, considering that the Park has potentials that are still original and beautiful and paying attention to threats. Lastly, to develop other tourist areas that increase competition.

House of Betang Damang Batu Tumbang Anoi is a symbol of the people's struggle to live in peace, peace, and prosperity between the hostile tribes. These homes have now become a tourist attraction that can increase revenue for local communities and local revenue. The research concludes that the tourism sector of house Betang Damang Batu Anoi can improve the economy and income of the society especially to a local community in Palangka Raya.
This study aims to produce a continuous improvement model of river basin community welfare by applying the moral values of the society culture. The subject of research is the community of the river Kahayan River Palangkaraya. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the aquaculture based eco-business activities can be done by applying the moral values of the river society culture, so that all economic activities do not damage the environment. The Kahayan River has a high economic potential for the people living around it. However, the current condition has been greatly reduced due to various obstacles encountered, including environmental damage in the upper river, due to refinery plantation companies (accompanied by high levels of pesticide use and chemical fertilizers and intensive cultivation), illegal gold mining, deforestation, illegal use of poison while fishing, industrial and household waste disposal into the Kahayan river.
