This study aims at describing how the 4C skills are incorporated in senior high school English teachers’ lesson plans and investigating the lesson plan components in which those skills are incorporated. The data for this qualitative study were collected through content analyses on ten lesson plans by three senior high school teachers in Jakarta. The study found that all lesson plans that were analyzed have incorporated all of the four 4C skills, which consist of creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, and collaboration. Among all indicators of the 4C skills’ incorporation, some were found to be incorporated in all lesson plans regardless of their topics, while others were more dominantly incorporated in lesson plans that discuss certain topic categories. The findings of the study also showed that most 4C skills were incorporated in the same four categories of lesson plan components: learning steps, assessment, learning methods, and indicators of competence achievement. An exception to this is the collaboration skill, which was not incorporated in components involving indicators of competence achievement. These findings are expected to aid teachers in specifying 4C skill aspects to incorporate in their lesson plans and the components to incorporate those aspects into.

The principal’s role is so significant in achieving educational goals that the quality of the principal largely determines the success or failure of a school, especially his ability to empower teachers and employees toward a conducive working atmosphere. The research was conducted to analyze the influence of multicultural Leadership from school principals and teacher professionalism on the performance of junior high school teachers. The research used quantitative and qualitative methods with the Sequential Explanatory design method (sequence of proof). In contrast, the research data came from 110 teachers who teach in 44 public junior high schools. Primary data sources are obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation of research objects to support qualitative research analysis. Secondary data comes from documents and school reports related to teacher performance. The study's results indicate a positive influence of multicultural Leadership on improving teacher performance, a positive influence of professionalism on teacher performance, and a significant positive relationship between the principal leadership and teacher professionalism on teacher performance. The implications of the research results show how important the role of school principal leadership is in increasing teacher professionalism which in turn can improve teacher performance.

The planting of character values in schools based on local wisdom is one of the breakthroughs that can be done by the teacher. One of them with the values the Kenduri Laot tradition that can be developed in the form of learning media. This study aims to develop a lesson plan design in the form of audio visual media-based of the Kenduri Laot tradition to improve the character of students in SMA Plus Athiyah Banda Aceh. The method used is research and development. This method refers to the model of Gall and Borg with the simplification of the stages from ten to three, namely the formulation of the problem, the designer of the development, and the effectiveness of or reflection. Based on the results of the study found a problem that during this time the planting of character values-based of the Kenduri Laot tradition is still not maximized. At this stage of development, carried out the preparation of the synopsis to test the expert audio-visual media. The results of the effectiveness of the t-Test shows that the significance value in the experimental group of 0.000 < 0.05 and in the control group amounted to 0.025 > 0.05, meaning that there is an increase of the characters in the experimental group.
