The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of technology on the academic performance of the students of the "Uruguay" Fiscal Educational Unit for the 2021-2022 school year. The methodology that was used is of a qualitative-quantitative type, with a descriptive design, it is field, correlational, and non-experimental. The population is made up of 1,200 students from the "Uruguay" Fiscal Educational Unit, obtaining a sample of 291 students to be surveyed. With the SPSS® statistical program and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, a reliability of 0.824 was obtained; In addition, with the results obtained from Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.778 in the general hypothesis, it is verified that students are clear that technology currently has a positive impact on the educational environment, since it improves educational effectiveness and didactic methods, contributing to the teaching-learning process and strengthening academic performance.
