This study is meant to examine the thesis quality of students of English Department at IAIN Samarinda. Through the descriptive-quantitative research, the thesis quality of students of English Department at IAIN Samarinda is reviewed from the aspects of language, structure, concepts understanding, theoretical framework, methodology, content, writing mechanism, and references used. This study also tries to figure out any factors that affect the thesis quality of English Department students. Fourteen English Department Students' thesis tested in 2013 are used as the main data. In addition, other data are obtained from respondents i.e. 19 students, and informants i.e. lecturers of English Department who are also their thesis advisors. The result shows that the average score of thesis written by 14 English Department students at IAIN Samarinda academic year of 2013 is 3.16 which is in the range of 2.61-3.40 scale, which is quite good quality. This quality is relevant with the informants' perceptions about the quality of thesis written by their students. Judging from some aspects, they assume that their students are able to write a good quality of thesis with an average score of 2.81 which is at a scale of 2.61-3.40. The quality is affected by internal factors and external factors. The most decisive internal factor is the respondents' low score of writing with appropriate and acceptable structure in English. This is the effect of respondents' lack of ability of composing adequate paragraphs in English. Meanwhile, the most concerning external factor is the quality of learning structure course and the professionalism of the informants in guiding the students to improve their writing ability in thesis writing.
This study aims to analyze the challenges of industrial work in the industrial revolution 5.0 towards the grade point average (GPA) for electronic engineering education students. This study was conducted in accordance with the development of the industrial world with the entry of the 5.0 industrial revolution and the demands of the world of education that must be met to improve the quality of graduates. The research objects are Electronics Engineering Students’. Sampling in this study uses the Slovin formula. A total of 75 students were involved in this study, with a sample of 43 people. To analyze the research data uses SPSS Version 20. The result shows that (1) industrial work motivation has a positive and significant on students’ grade point average (GPA) of electronics engineering students’ (2) work readiness in the industry has a positive and significant on students’ grade point average (GPA) of electronics engineering students’ (3) industrial work motivation and work readiness in the industry together have a significant on students’ grade point average (GPA) of electronics engineering students’.
The industrial revolution 5.0 has had an impact on all education in universities. The spread of the COVID-19 virus has an impact on the education system. These changes affect student satisfaction in taking education.. Universities must improve the quality of information and service quality to achieve student satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the effect of information quality and service quality on student satisfaction. This research includes correlational research. The subjects of this study were 100 students of Informatics Engineering Education. The data analysis technique is regression test. The results showed that (1) the quality of information had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction (2) the quality of service had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction (3) the quality of information and the quality of service together had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction. These findings provide a perception to increase competition towards the industrial revolution 5.0 and the satisfaction of college students must update the quality of information and service quality.
The formulation of the problem in this study is: How does compensation, training and work motivation influence the work productivity at Dinas Perikanan Kota Tanjungbalai. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, training and work motivation on employee work productivity. With total sampling technique, the sample in this study was 41 people. The results showed; Compensation partially has a positive effect on employee work productivity; Partial training has a positive effect on employee work productivity; Work motivation partially has a positive influence on employee work productivity; Training, compensation and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity.
Learning styles play an important role in improving entrepreneurial learning outcomes and career development. Information processing and understanding of a theory will be well absorbed with the application of the right learning style. This research was conducted to determine the extent of the influence of the application of learning styles on the learning outcomes of entrepreneurship and career development of electronic engineering students. The number of students selected as many as 212 people with the cluster random sampling method. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Testing of learning style variables using Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) and seeing the validity of the indicators of each variable using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Testing of latent hypotension between variables was carried out using SEM. The results showed that outer loading, Cronbach alpha, composite reliability, AVE were valid and reliable. This means that the instrument used is valid and reliable. There is a positive relationship between structural predictor models; learning style affects the learning outcomes of entrepreneurship and career development. There is a mediating influence of entrepreneurial learning outcomes on the relationship between learning styles and career development. To achieve optimal entrepreneurship learning outcomes and career development, it is necessary to apply the right learning style. This Study aims to describe the management of regional management in west Aceh regency and to determine whether or not the regional asset management is appropriate from the perspective of sharia asset management and PERMENDAGRI number 19 of 2016. the approach of this research is qualitative with descriptive analysis method. the sample used in this study is the civil servants of the West Aceh regional financial management agency (BPKD) who have a relationship whit regional asset management policies. the result of the study show that the management of fixed assets/regional property at the regional management agency (BPKD) Aceh Barat has done it optimally and in accordance with the systems and procedures of the cycle of managing the property of the region as stipulated in domestic regulation number 19 of 2016 concerning guidelines for the management of regional property. planning according to needs and procurement of asset carried out in a transparent manner as well as utilization that can be utilized by the community with a borrow and use system. the implementation of asset management is also in accordance with Islamic law, namely management which is based on Islamic values such as trust, reliability and freedom, balance and can be accounted for. these Islamic principles are applied and used as the basis for the asset management mechanism. some of the obstacles or inhibiting factors encounted in implementing the regional property management cycle are human resources due to the need for specific knowledge and understanding of the regional-owned asset management mechanism.
Berbicara tentang pendidikan masih banyak terdapat kendala atau permasalahan baik didalam maupun diluar kelas. Menurut pengamatan peneiliti salah satu faktor yang menimbulkan kendala tersebut yaitu belum maksimalnya dalam menerapkan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru pendidikan agama islam, yang menimbulkan kurangnya minat bahkan motivasi ketika guru pendidikan agama islam menjelaskan pembelajaran didalam maupun diluar kelas. Menurut peneliti kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional lebih mengarah ke proses perancangan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di dalam kelas maupun diluar kelas dilihat dari pengeratianya dan indikatornya, dari pada kompetensi yang lainya sehingga bisa dikatakan berhubungan dengan permasalahan yang teliti temukan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru PAI terhadap motivasi belajar siswa meningkatkan motivasi belajar . Selanjutnya penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah variabel kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional secara varsial dan simultan berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripitif kuantitatif, dengan sampel sebanyak 81 responden. Tekhnik pengumpulan sampel ini menggunakan rumus slovin yang awalnya berjumlah 420 responden menjadi 81 responden. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Tekhnik keabsahan data menggunakan uji validitas, uji realibilitas sedangkan untuk tekhnik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi liniear berganda dengan menggunakan uji t, uji f, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dengan menggunakan program SPSS 21 mendapatkan hasil dari uji koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,776 yang berarti 76,7 % variabel Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Kompetensi Profesional mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel Motivasi Belajar Hasil linear regresi berganda yang menunjukkan persamaan Y = 11.082+ 2,854 X1 + 3,886 X2 + e. dan nilai ttabel penelitian ini (α = 5 % ) adalah 1,990 dari variabel Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Kompetensi Profesional yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel Motivasi Belajar adalah variabel Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Kompetensi Profesional. Sedangkan untuk uji F didapatkan nilai Fhitung 140.397 > Ftabel 3,110. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variavel kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional secara bersama-sama (silmultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel motivasi belajar Y.
Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji korelasi keberagamaan (X) dan kompetensi kepemimpinan (Y) dari guru pendidikan agama Islam SMAN Samarinda (selanjutnya ditulis gpai) dalam menanamkan nilai Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin kepada warga sekolah. Ada 2 model orientasi keberagamaan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini, yaitu model orientasi keberagamaan intrinsik dan model orientasi keberagamaan ekstrisik. Sedangkan kompetensi kepemimpinan gpai terdiri atas 3 aspek utama, yaitu aspek pemahaman, aspek manajemen pelaksananaan, dan aspek sikap dalam penanaman nilai demokratis, nilai toleransi, nilai humanis, dan nilai multi-kultural. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk mix methods kuantitatif-kualitatif model kombinasi (concurrent trianggulation) dengan 40 gpai yang tersebar pada 17 SMAN Samarinda sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data yang diperoleh memenuhi standar pengujian korelasi: nilai masing2 validitas > 0,2573 (df 38), reliabilitas dengan nilai >0,425, dan uji normalitas berdasarkan nilai Sig.0,816>0,05. Uji korelasi sederhana (X dan Y) menghasilkan perhitungan sebesar 0.280>r tabel 0,2638, sedangkan uji korelasi ganda dari model orientasi keberagamaan (X1,X2 dan Y) adalah sebesar 0,403>r tabel 0,263, dan korelasi dari beberapa dimensi model orientasi keberagamaan intrinsik (X1.a, X1.b, dan Y) adalah sebesar 0,547> r tabel 0,263. Dan untuk korelasi dari dimensi model orientasi keberagamaan ekstrinsik (X2.a, X2.b, X2.c, X2.d, dan Y) adalah sebesar 0,314>r tabel 0,267. Berdasarkan analisis uji Sig.diketahui bahwa terdapat korelasi signifikan antara keberagamaan dan kompetensi kepemimpinan gpai dalam menanamkan nilai Islam rahmatan lil’alamin kepada warga SMAN se Kota Samarinda. Bahkan korelasi model orientasi keberagamaan intrinsik, yaitu dimensi keyakinan dan dimensi pengalaman menunjukkan angka paling kuat tingkat korelasinya dengan kompetensi kepemimpinan gpai, yaitu sebesar 0,547 yang berarti > dari kriteri r table (df 38 = 0,2638) dan berkontribusi sebesar 29.92% terhadap kompetensi kepemimpinan dan sisanya 70.08% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar variabel tersebut.
