“…The daily dose is up to 200 mg, usually about 100 mg Indomethacin is known to cause some general side effects such as gastro-intestinal irritation, light headcdness and dizziness, and to aggravate Parkinsonism, epilepsy and some psychic disturbances [Ellis, 1970]. Ocular side effects have been described either as corneal deposits or as pigment degeneration of the retina [Burns, 1966[Burns, , 1968H enkes, 1971]. Crews, in 1969, mentions that it might affect the retina, and Chapman [1966] reports the development of vitreous hemorrhages possibly due to the use of indomethacin.…”
