“…Most authors do not remove the ureter routinely. Zwergel and Ziegler [8], in a study of 330 cases of GT with surgical treatment (nephrectomy in 159 cases) did not mention additional ureterectomy. Synchronous or secondary removal of the ureter seems to be rare, as postoperative chemotherapy can cure the ureteral stump completely.…”
