“…This is however true also in other fields. EIS is also used for the characterization of the electrochemical behavior of energy storage devices and electrode materials for supercapacitors, batteries and fuel cells [25][26][27][28]. As in the case of medical and biological applications, also in these applications the elements to be characterized are modeled by means of multi-element models.…”

“…A broad, large peak was observed at around 3360 cm –1 for chewing gum residue which was attributed to OH stretching. [ 48,49 ] This peak was slightly shifted to lower wavenumber (3330 cm –1 ) for the gel, this was presumably due to the formation of intermolecular hydrogen bonding between PVA chains. [ 50 ] The band at 1105 cm −1 is relevant to the stretching vibration of COC of PVA.…”

“…A GPE prepared by a water plasticizer is specifically called a hydrogel polymer electrolyte. This type of water containing PEs, which is low‐cost and environmentally friendly, has a three‐dimensional polymeric network to trap water inside, mainly by surface tension 106‐109 . Among GPEs, PVA‐based hydrogels have so far been the most widely studied polymer matrix for SSCs applications.…”
