Introduction: Stunting is a linear growth disorder caused by malnutrition in chronic nutrient intake and chronic recurrent infectious diseases as indicated by height z-score according to age. Infancy is a period that is very sensitive to the environment so more attention is needed especially the adequacy of nutrition. Obstetric complications are very influential on several determinant factors, one of these factors is a medical society or social risk. Family socioeconomic status such as family income, parental education, mother's knowledge about nutrition, and the number of family members can indirectly relate to stunting. Methods: A cross-sectional analytic with a retrospective approach. Processing data using regression tests. Result: The results of this Stunting study were obtained from nutritional status data on children under five in the province of West Sulawesi in January-June 2020 by taking samples using simple random sampling. The total number of samples in this study were 88 people taken from mothers who have Stunting children aged 2-5 years. Social risk is the condition of the mother during pregnancy including age, level of education, ethnicity, occupation, income, referral decision, cost considerations, distance traveled, referral mobilization, consideration of health insurance that is expected to be related to stunting. Conclusion: In this study, it was found that the most influential medicosocial determinants were referral mobilization and employment.

Teenagers are the next generation that needs to be the center of attention. Physical and mental development in adolescents occurs rapidly. The process of changing times with free association arises causing debate about their reproductive health. The purpose of this study was to determine the reproductive health problems of adolescents in Banten province. This study used a qualitative design and constructivism paradigm. The research method was using the in-depth interview guideline instrument with 11 informants conducted in Banten province in January− June 2017. Qualitative data analysis using content analysis. The results showed that environmental factors such as family, relationships, health workers, and the availability of prostitution practice were trigger teenagers' problems. The environment did not support them to learn about sexuality makes them seek information from sources that cannot be justified. This practice made adolescents have inappropriate knowledge about adolescent reproductive health. The availability of prostitution practice was a unique highlight for those who can channel their curiosity in fulfilling their sexual desires. In conclusions, adolescent reproductive health problems in Banten province consisted of premarital sex behavior, teenage pregnancy, teenage marriage, youth delivery, sexually transmitted diseases, and abnormal sexual behavior. These problems arise due to factors of knowledge, environment, and family economic status.

Background: The incidence of stunting among children under five in the world is estimated at 149.2 million (22%) and the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia ranks third highest in Southeast Asia. The impact of stunting is an obstacle in achieving optimal growth and development. Objective: To determine the description of external factors that influence the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in the working area of the Tepus II Public Health Center Gunungkidul Methods: This research used a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. Sampling using total sampling, all mothers who have toddlers aged 24-59 months with short and very short criteria in the work area of the UPT Puskesmas Tepus II Gunungkidul as many as 59 respondents. Data analysis used univariate analysis Results: the mother's education level is mostly low as many as 36 respondents (61.02%), the number of respondent's family members is at most more than 4, namely 34 respondents (57.63%), the respondent's family income is at most less than Rp. 1,705,000 (less than the minimum wage) i.e. 44 respondents (74.58%), most of the stunting toddlers amounting to 48 (81.36%) received exclusive breastfeeding, and the majority of family marriage age was more than 19 years, namely 36 respondents (61, 02%). Conclusion: External factors related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in the working area of the Tepus II Gunungkidul Health Center include most of the mothers with low education, having more than 4 family members, income below the minimum wage, getting exclusive breastfeeding and age of marriage are > 19 years old.
