Fast Hug: Um Aliado Na Manutenção Diária Dos Cuidados De Enfermagem Ao Paciente Crítico

Abstract

FAST HUG: AN ALLY IN THE DAILY MAINTAIANCE OF NURSING CARE FOR CRITICAL PATIENTSObjective: To understand if nurses consider the use of Fast Hug (FH) in the care of critically ill patients to be relevant.Methodology: a descriptive study, quantitative and qualitative research, carried out in the intensive care unit of a University Hospital of Rio de Janeiro. Results: 11 of the nurses did not know the FH, while 10 never worked in an institution that uses it.Thrombosis prophylaxis was considered the most difficult to assess (08); the majority 15 believe that it is necessary to apply in the sector, the following strategies are suggested: it is used in patient evaluation, shift changes, checklist, multidisciplinary visit.Conclusion: nurses showed interest in applying FH, understanding its relevance.Descriptors: Critical care, Checklist, Nursing care, Patient safety. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, pesquisa cuantitativo-cualitativa, llevado a cabo em la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un Hospital Universitario de Río de Janeiro. Resultados: 11 de las enfermeras no conocía el FH, 10 nunca ha trabajado en una institución que lo utiliza. La profilaxis de latrombosis se considera el más difícil de evaluar (08); 15 cree que es necessária aplicación em el sector, se sugieren lãs siguientes estrategias: se utiliza em La evaluación del paciente, cambios de turno, checklist, visita multidisciplinaria. Conclusión: Las enfermeiras mostraron interes en aplicar el FH, compreendendo supertinencia.Descriptores: Cuidados críticos, Checklist, Atención de Enfermería, Seguridad del paciente.
