Experimentos em livros didáticos de Física: uma análise comparativa de duas edições do PNLD

Abstract

ResumoO ensino médio pressupõe uma aprendizagem abrangente e significativa dos conteúdos, no qual o professor deve valer-se de recursos didáticos disponíveis e adequados à sua prática. Nessa perspectiva, a atividade experimental torna-se um importante instrumento de ensino a ser explorado no estudo de Física, que também pode ser vivenciado pelos alunos por meio do livro didático. Este artigo tem a finalidade de analisar as atividades experimentais indicadas nas obras do Programa Nacional do Livro Didático para o Ensino Médio de 2012 (PNLDEM-2012) nos temas da Física e em categorias definidas nas competências e habilidades dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o Ensino Médio: representação e comunicação, investigação e compreensão e contextualização sócio-cultural. Foram confrontadas duas edições do referido Programa, considerando-se os resultados das análises realizadas para as coleções de 2007, bem como os resultados correlatos para as obras do PNLDEM-2012. Em geral, os Programas apresentaram um comportamento similar, em que alguns temas e categorias foram privilegiados com a experimentação. Por fim, essa abordagem quantitativa também mostra que os livros didáticos aprimoraram-se ao incorporar as práticas em seu conteúdo, contribuindo de forma satisfatória aos objetivos educacionais pretendidos pelos professores de Física. Experiments in physics textbooks: a comparative analysis of two issues of the PNLD.The high school requires a comprehensive and meaningful learning of the contents, in which the teacher should make use of available teaching resources that are appropriate for his or her practice. From this perspective, the experimental activity becomes an important teaching tool to be exploited in the study of physics, which can also be experienced by students through textbook. This article aims to analyze the experimental activities mentioned in the works of the National Textbook Program for High School 2012 (PNLDEM-2012) in the subjects of Physics and the categories defined in the skills and abilities of the National Curriculum Guidelines for Secondary Education: representation and communication, research and understanding and sociocultural context. Two editions of the program were compared, considering the results of analyzes for the collections of 2007 and the results related to the works of PNLDEM-2012. In general, the programs showed a similar behavior, in which some themes and categories were privileged with experimentation. Finally, this quantitative approach also shows that textbooks are improved, by incorporating practices in content, contributing satisfactorily to the educational goals intended by the teachers of Physics.
